Generally we all use skin care products, but do you know, in order to get maximum benefits of them, it is very important to apply each and every product in right order.

Today in this video, I am going to share a step by step guide, that will tell you about how to layer skin care products.

General Rule Of Applying Skin Care Products

First use the products with the ingredients that are most important to penetrate into the skin (like antioxidants in serums) and finish with the products that need to sit on top of the skin (like emollients and humectants in moisturizers)

The morning routine is all about protection from the sun, pollution and the elements

Step 1 – cleanser

Splash some warm water on your face, and wash it with mild face cleanser according to your skin type

Step 2 – Toning

Most people skip this step, but it very important step to blanch pH level of your skin, and shrink size of open skin pores.

Step. 3 – Anti oxidant Face Serum

Face serums, are super-concentrated, nutrient-dense treatments, that address specific concerns, so it’s better to keep them as close to the skin as possible.

It is always better to use, antioxidant face serums, as they provide a variety of benefits—from blunting your skin’s inflammatory response, to neutralizing damage from UV rays and environmental pollutants

Step 4 – Moisturizer

If you feel that afters serum you don’t need moisturiser, you are doing a big mistake. Every skin needs a good moisturiser.

Even though your body has its own natural lubricating system, consisting of glands that secrete oil (or sebum), to maintain a protective coating against harsh outside conditions and infections, most of us do need extra hydration, after the havoc that sun, weather and harsh chemicals wreak on our skin

It is always better to apply moisturiser on damp skin, so it is better to apply moisturiser immediately after serum application

Step 5 – Sunscreen

Sunscreen should be the last step in your daytime skin care routine if you’re using a physical or mineral sunscreen, which works by physically blocking the UV rays.

Step 1

Double cleansing method

First wash your face with oil to remove make up on your face and then wash it with cleanser

In this first step, use face cleansing oil to remove make up that is present on your face and in the second step use face cleanser to remove all the excess sebum, dirt and makeup you loosened up on the first step. This leaves your skin fresh and perfectly prepped to absorb your skin regimen.

Step 2 – Toner/Face Mist

After face cleansing, you can use face toner. Some people replace toner with mists, essences, beauty waters or hydrating (hyaluronic acid) serums.

Step 3 – Eye cream

Apply eye cream around your eyes to protect your eye area

Step. 4- Night Serum

Anu skin repairing serums are available in market, and night is the best time to apply these products on your skin

Step 5 – Night cream

Some people use the day moisturizer as night cream, but it is not the best practice for your skin. Night moisturizers or night creams are generally thicker and heavier, and designed to be absorbed over the course of several hours.
