How to:

  1. Take 1 tablespoon of pure sandalwood powder.
  2. Add 1 teaspoon of rosewater to it and mix well to form a paste.
  3. If the mask appears to still be powdery or too thick, then you may add a few more drops of rosewater.
  4. Add in a 1/4th teaspoon of pure coconut oil and mix well again.
  5. Apply this on your face in an even layer and let it stay for 15 minutes or until its completely dry.
  6. Then rinse it off with lukewarm water.
  7. Do this remedy 2-3 times a week.

How this helps:

Sandalwood powder is healing and soothing for the skin. It helps in reducing inflammation while coconut oil adds moisture and shine to the face. It prevents the skin from getting dry.

Coffee and Coco Face Mask

How to:

  1. Take 1 teaspoon of coffee grounds and add 1 teaspoon of coco powder to it. For this recipe, you must use unsweetened coco powder.
  2. Add 1 teaspoon of organic honey with 2 teaspoons of milk and mix well to form a paste.

  3. Pour into a bottle and use it on the skin as a toner using a cotton pad.

Yoghurt & Lemon Cleansing Milk

How to:

  2. Add in 3-4 drops of lavender essential oil and 2-3 teaspoons of lemon juice.
  3. Mix until well combined.
  4. Take 1 tablespoon of this cleansing milk and apply on your face.

  6. Rinse it off with plain water.
