Baking soda 1/2 cup
Epsom salt 2 cups
Spearmint essential oil 8 drops
Eucalyptus oil 16 drops

Directions For Preparation:

  1. Firstly, take a container and put all the ingredients in it.
  2. Then stir them well to make them get mixed well.
  3. Whenever you feel stressed, you can use this mixture while bathing.
  4. Fill a bathtub with warm water and add about 1 or 2 cups of this mixture.
  5. Wait until the added mixture gets dissolved in the water.
  6. Then soak yourself completely inside the bathtub.
  7. This will really offer you relief from all the stress and its effects.
  8. You can prefer taking this once in a week.

#2. Citrus Massage Oil

Things Required:

Grapefruit essential oil 12 drops
Sweet Almond Oil 1/4 cup
Bergamot essential oil 12 drops
Pump bottle (2 oz) 1

  1. Take one pump bottle and put all the given ingredients in it.
  2. Then close the bottle and shake it well to make them get combined well.

Things Required:

Turmeric powder 1/2 cup
Ghee or sesame oil 1 cup
Ginger 1/2 cup
Fresh basil leaves 1/2 cup
Fresh orange peels 1/2 cup
Cloves 1/2 cup
Lotus root 1/2 cup
Essential oil 5 to 8 drops

Directions For Preparation:

  1. Pour the ghee in a small saucepan and wait until it gets melted down completely.
  2. Then mix all the herbs with the melted ghee and remove the pan from the heat.
  3. Leave the container undisturbed for one day.
  4. Then filter the oil separately in a small bottle leaving the residues behind. You can use a cheesecloth or a filter for this.
  5. Now add the essential oil into the herbs-infused oil and mix well. You can choose basil, rose, orange or jasmine essential oil for this.
  6. You can now start using this mixture for massaging your body and face to get relief from stress and to take care of your skin.

#4. Chamomile Massage Oil

Things Required:

Sweet almond oil 8 ounces
Calendula flowers 1/4 cup
Chamomile flowers 1/4 cup
Lavender essential oil 30 drops

Directions For Preparation:

  1. Firstly, you should pour the almond (carrier) oil in a small container.
  2. Then put the dried flowers in the carrier oil and close the container.
  3. Leave the oil for about 2 weeks.
  4. Then filter the oil separately leaving the residue behind. You can use a cheesecloth or a filter for doing this.
  5. Now add the essential oil into the filtered oil and stir it well.

#5. Herbal Bath Bomb

Things Required:

Cornstarch 1/3 cup
Epsom Salt 3 tbsp
Baking Soda 1 cup
Citric Acid 1/2 cup
Herbal Infused Almond Oil 3 tbsp
Lavender Essential Oil a few drops
Roman Chamomile Essential Oil a few drops
Dried Calendula 1/4 cup
Dried Chamomile 1/4 cup
Dried Lavender 2 tbsp

Directions For Preparation:

  1. For this, you have to take two containers to put the dry and the wet ingredients separately.
  2. Firstly, take all the herbs and blend them together using a blender.
  3. Then add the herbs and the other dry ingredients in a small bowl. Mix them well to make them get combined together.
  4. Now take another bowl and add all the wet ingredients that are given above.
  5. Stir the mixture well to make them get combined well.
  6. While mixing the dry ingredients, you can start to pour the wet mixture slowly inside the dry ingredients.
  7. Make sure that you do not pour too fast as otherwise, it would ruin the mixture.
  8. Then stir the mixture well to make both the dry & wet ingredients get mixed well. You should try giving the mixture the shape of a small ball.
  9. If the mixture does not hold together then you can add a little amount of water to make it proper.
  10. Now put the obtained mixture into the bath bomb molds and leave it aside for about 2 hours.
  11. Then you can remove the bath bomb from the molds and start using it.
  12. You can put them into your bathtub while taking a bath to get relief from the stress.
  13. Also, wrap them and store, when you wanted to use them in the future.

#6. Essential Oils Body Lotion

Things Required:

Lavender essential oil 24 drops
Cedarwood (Atlas) essential oil 4 drops
Grapefruit essential oil 7 drops
Clary sage essential oil 5 drops
Apricot kernel oil 25 grams
Emulsifying wax 8 grams
Distilled water 75 grams

Directions For Preparation:

  1. For this, you have to take two heatproof containers.
  2. Put the emulsifying wax in one container and the other container should be filled with distilled water.
  3. Now heat both the containers by keeping it in a saucepan on the stove.
  4. Wait until the mixture kept in both the containers gets melted down completely for about 10 minutes.
  5. Then pour both the boiled mixture together in a single container.
  6. Now start stirring it with a spoon for about 30 to 45 seconds.
  7. Then allow the mixture to get cool down for some time.
  8. After that, you can add the essential oils and start mixing it again.
  9. After a few hours, you can notice the mixture to get thickened as a smooth body lotion.
  10. You can start using this lotion on your skin to get relaxation from stress.
