Prepare Skin For Makeup

If you apply makeup without prepping or protecting it, the chances are that makeup will seep inside the pores, which can further enhance the acne. Begin by rinsing your face to mattifying the face. Use a mild cleanser and follow it up with some serum and a moisturizer.

Serum To Shrink Pores

Things you will need:

 Avocado Oil  2 oz
 Frankincense Oil  10 drops
 Lemon Essential Oil  10 drops

Procedure:

  1. Mix avocado oil, frankincense oil and lemon oil in a bowl.
  2. Apply this on your face and massage for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Use circular motion until the oil-mix seeps into the pores. Don’t rinse.

Primer For Pimple

It is important to have a smooth surface for the concealer and foundation to sit on the skin smoothly. Primer smoothes and cools the skin, which makes it appear less red and hide the bumps.

Aloe Vera Primer

Things you will need:

 Aloe Vera Gel  1 tbsp
 Almond Oil  2 drops
 Water  3 tbsp

Procedure:

  1. Mix aloe vera gel, almond oil and water in a bowl.
  2. Wash your hands using a cleanser in order to wash off the bacteria.
  3. Apply this on your acne and dab it.
  4. Massage gently for 1-2 minutes in a circular motion.

Concealer To Cover Up

Concealer is the most appropriately named makeup. It helps in concealing redness as well as pigmentation caused due to acne. Choosing a concealer that best suit your complexion is the biggest trick to perfect this. Using a concealer of green shade helps in masking the redness and pigmentation.

Natural Concealer

Things you will need:

 Rosehip Oil  2 tbsp
 Sea Buckthorn Oil  1 Tsp
 Argan Oil  2 Tsp
 Cocoa Butter  1 Tsp
 Pressed Powder  1 tbsp

Procedure:

  1. Take a glass bowl and melt the cocoa butter, using the double boiler method, in it.
  2. Once melted, mix it up with rosehip oil, sea buckthorn oil, argan oil and pressed powder.
  3. Using a spoon, mix the ingredients well.
  4. Set it aside for 24 hours until it hardens.
  5. To use, scoop some of it out and apply it onto your acne.
  6. Blend it in by dabbing it using your fingers.

Powder To Set

Setting powder helps in absorbing any excess moisture or oil from the skin. It helps in smoothening the skin while setting the rest of the makeup. To use, you can press your powder using a puff, or stipple your powder brush in a pressing motion over your acne.

Cinnamon Compact Powder

Things you will need:

 Cornstarch  2 tbsp
 Cinnamon Powder  1 1/2 Tsp
 Jojoba Oil  5 drops
