Aroma Facial Treatment

You can do this aromatic facial once or twice a month.

Cleanse

Things you will need:

 Distilled Water  1 cup
 Castile Soap  1/4th Cup
 Rosehip Oil  1 tbsp
 Honey  2 tbsp
 Tea tree Oil  6 drops
 Rosemary Oil  6 drops
 Lavender Oil  5 drops

Procedure:

  1. Begin by taking a foam pump bottle.
  2. Add 1 cup of distilled water, 1/4th cup of castile soap, 1 tbsp of rosehip, 2 tbsp of honey, 6 drops of tea tree, 6 drops of rosemary and 5 drops of lavender essential oil in it.
  3. Close the lid and shake well in order to mix all the ingredients really well.
  4. Now, wet your face, pump some of this cleanser in your palms and apply it onto your face.
  5. Massage for 1-2 minutes and rinse the face off using cold water.
  6. Pat the skin dry.

Use this cleanser to clear all the impurities from the topmost layer of the skin. Essential oil makes sure that they work on problems like acne and blemishes and also clear all impurities. Honey moisturizes the skin and its antibacterial properties help in killing the bacteria that causes acne.

Toner

Things you will need:

 Apple Cider Vinegar  1/4th Cup
 Witch Hazel  1/4th Cup
 Distilled Water  As required
 Tea Tree Oil  5 drops
 Frankincense Oil  10 drops
 Lavender Oil  10 drops
 Lemon Oil  5 drops

Procedure:

  1. Take a spray bottle, add 1/4th cup of apple cider vinegar, 1/4th cup of witch hazel, 5 drops of tea tree oil, 10 drops of frankincense oil, 10 drops of lavender oil and 5 drops of lemon oil in it.
  2. Fill the remaining bottle with distilled water, close the lid and shake well in order to mix all the ingredients.
  3. Spray this solution onto your face and massage using your fingers for half a minute. You can also apply it using a cotton ball.

Use this toner after cleansing your face.

Toner helps in seeping into the pores and cleansing the dirt from it. It also helps in sucking excess oil from pore whilst balancing the pH of the skin.

Steam

Things you will need:

 Lavender Oil  1 tbsp
 Rose Petals  1 tbsp
 Calendula  1 tbsp
 Chamomile  1 tbsp
 Geranium Oil  5 drops
 Lemon Juice  2 tbsp
 Water  1 Bowl Full

Procedure:

  1. Take a big bowl and fill it with steaming hot water.
  2. Add 1 tbsp of lavender oil, 1 tbsp rose petals, 1 tbsp of Calendula, 1 tbsp of chamomile, 5 drops of geranium oil and 2 tbsp of lemon juice in it.
  3. Stir in order to mix all the ingredients really well.
  4. Now, take a towel and place it on top of your head covering it like a tent.
  5. Lower your face down so that the steam rising up from the bowl touches your face.
  6. Do this for 10 minutes and pat the skin dry.

Repeat this treatment, every time you are planning to follow any facial routine.

While normal steam only helps in opening the pores, using this particular steam helps in opening the pores and the essential oil-infused steam cleanses the pores and hydrates the skin with great nutrients.

Exfoliator

Things you will need:

 Tomato Juice  3-4 tbsp
 Rice Flour  3 tbsp
 Lemon Juice  1 Tsp

Procedure:

  1. Take a bowl, add 3-4 tbsp of tomato juice, 3 tbsp of rice flour and 1 Tsp of lemon juice in it.
  2. Mix all the ingredients really well in order to make a paste.
  3. Apply this exfoliator on your steamed face and massage gently for a few minutes.
  4. Leave it on for half-hour and rinse it off using cold water.
  5. Pat the skin dry.

Tomato is a natural bleaching agent which helps in whitening the skin. Rice flour is a gentle exfoliator which helps in scrubbing the dead skin cells and impurities. Lemon kills the bacteria that cause skin problems like acne and blemishes.

Mask

Essential Oil And Sugar

Things you will need:

 Sugar  1/2 Cup
 Coconut oil  2 tbsp
 Grapefruit Oil  3-5 drops
 Frankincense Oil  1 drop
 Tea tree Oil  1 drop
 Food Colouring  1 drop

Procedure:

  1. Take a bowl, add 1/2 cup sugar. 2 tbsp of coconut oil, 3-5 drops of grapefruit oil and 1 drop of each frankincense, tea tree and red food colouring in it.
  2. Mix all the ingredients really well in order to make a paste.
  3. Apply this onto your wet face and begin the massage.
  4. Start by using your fingers, move your fingers from in between your eyebrows towards your ears and neck.
  5. Now, place the fingers above the top lip and move towards the ears and down to the neck.
  6. For the next move, place the hands at the temples and swipe down to face and neck.
  7. Finish the massage by sweeping fingers up to the neck and across the cheek.
  8. Leave it on for half an hour and rinse it off using cold water.
  9. Pat the skin dry. Finish with a moisturizer.

The sugar helps in scrubbing the impurities out and removing the dead skin cell. Essential oil works on killing the bacteria that cause acne and blemishes. These essential oils also help in tightening the skin and bringing its lost elasticity back.

Aroma Hair Treatment

Castor Oil, Olive Oil And Lavender Oil

Things you will need:

 Castor Oil  1 tbsp
 Olive Oil  1 tbsp
 Lavender Oil  5 drops

Procedure:

  1. Take a bowl, add 1 tbsp of castor oil, 1 tbsp of olive oil and 5 drops of lavender essential oil in it.

  4. Leave it on for 1 hour and rinse it off using a mild shampoo. You can also leave it on overnight and wash the next morning.
