I) Honey + Baking Soda

Ingredients:

  • A warm washing cloth
  • 1 tablespoon of baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon of raw honey
  • Non- comedogenic moisturizer

Technique:

  1. Intermix honey with baking soda and procure a smooth paste.
  2. Wash your face properly with a cleanser and pat dry.
  3. Apply the paste that’s been formed to all the affected areas.
  4. Put a warm washing cloth onto your face and wait for about 5 minutes.
  5. Once the cloth has cooled off, make use of it to rub off the treatment and wash your face with cold water.
  6. Apply a non-comedogenic moisturizer to give it a fine finishing touch.

II) Baking Soda + Coconut Oil

Ingredients:

  • A tiny mixing bowl
  • 1 tablespoon of baking soda
  • Extra virgin coconut oil (as per your requirement)
  • A cotton swab

Technique:

  1. Put a tablespoon of baking soda into a tiny mixing bowl.
  2. Add melted extra virgin coconut oil on top of it (as much as you need) and mix in order to procure a smooth paste.
  3. Dab a cotton bud for applying baking soda and the coconut oil paste onto the acne-prone areas of your skin.

III) Baking Soda + Lemon Juice

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons of baking soda
  • A few drops of lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons of water

Technique:

  1. Amalgamate all the ingredients together.
  2. Apply the paste formed to your face.
  3. Keep it on for 10 minutes.
  4. Wash the paste off with warm water.

IV) Baking Soda + Yogurt + Lemon essential oil

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon of yoghurt
  • 1.5 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 drop of lemon essential oil
  • 1 small bowl
  • A clean towel

Technique:

  1. Intermix all the above-mentioned ingredients in a small bowl until you obtain a creamy paste.
  2. Apply this mixture to your face and leave it in that state for about 5-10 minutes.
  3. Rinse off the face mask with warm water.
  4. Pat dry your face with a clean towel.

A piece of advice:

It’s recommended to use Greek yoghurt.

V) Baking Soda + Apple Cider Vinegar

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of baking soda

Technique:

  1. Add 1 tablespoon of baking soda to 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and mix well.
  2. Apply it to the affected areas.
  3. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Rinse it off with lukewarm water.
