Today in this video, we are going to share different remedies, where you can use baking soda as shampoo.

Most of the commercial shampoo, contains chemicals such as sulfate and paraben. These chemicals cause a lot of problems such as, split ends, scalp irritation, hair loss and even fades the natural hair colour. Baking soda, on the other hand, is made of an all natural substance, sodium bicarbonate, and costs almost nothing.

Method 1

Basic Baking Soda Shampoo

This method uses baking soda as the only ingredient. Easy, quick and almost free!

Ingredients:

  • Baking Soda: 1 tablespoon
  • Water: 3-4 tablespoon
  • Vinegar: for rinsing

Process:

  1. Mix the baking soda and water to form a paste.
  2. Add more water if required.
  3. Slather over the scalp and let it sit for a few minutes.
  4. Mix a little vinegar in water. Use this diluted vinegar solution to rinse your hair.

Method 2

Baking soda and Castor Oil shampoo

Castor oil will help your hair feel fresher and smell really good after shampooing.

Ingredient:

  • Baking Soda: 1 tablespoon
  • Water: 3-4 tablespoon
  • Castor oil: 2-3 drops

Process:

  1. Mix all the ingredients to form a paste.
  2. Apply this mixture on your hair and let it sit for a few minutes.
  3. Rinse with a diluted vinegar solution in water.
  4. Take care that castor oil does not sting on your scalp. If it does, do not use it.

Method 3

Baking Soda and Lemon Juice Shampoo

Lemon juice is also a wonderful home remedy for your hair. It removes dandruff and other impurities from your scalp that might be affecting the growth of your hair. Mixing it with Baking Soda makes the perfect shampoo!

Ingredients:

  • Baking Soda: 1 tablespoon
  • Water: 3-4 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice: 3-4 drops, freshly squeezed

Process:

  1. Mix all the ingredients and form a paste.
  2. Apply this mixture on your hair and let it sit for a few minutes.
  3. Rinse with a diluted vinegar solution.
