So it is suggested that you do not consume it in large quantities as it will also provide significant amounts of caffeine to your body which as you said you are trying to avoid.   11. I would say do not drink green tea too early in the morning before you have had breakfast because it can harm your liver if you drink it on empty stomach. Drinking between the meals is a great idea because it will enhance the nutrient absorption from the foods. Also, drink green tea before you exercise for sure. Scientific studies have shown conclusively that you will burn more calories when exercising after green tea as it will increase your energy levels.

  15. Green tea does contain caffeine in it. A 250 ml volume of green tea contains anywhere between 30 mg to 50 mg of caffeine in it. Of course, it varies depending upon the type of green tea, preparation methods etc. rest assured, it is much lower than the amounts of caffeine in black tea and coffee.

  16. Green tea really helps with weight loss and it has been shown conclusively in clinical studies. There was a study in 2009 in which 60 overweight people followed a uniform diet for 3 months while also consuming either green tea or a placebo on a regular basis. After the 3 months had passed , the results showed that the people who drank green tea had lost, on average, 3.3 kg of weight more than the people who got placebo and hence did not drink green tea. There have been other study which established that people who drank green tea extract for 3 moths showed significant decrease in body weight, fat stores in the body and the size and circumference of the waist, when weighed against a control group which did not drink the green tea extract.   21. That sounds highly unlikely and just a myth. Caffeine does have a diuretic effect which means that it will make you pee more. But to have a significant effect in that realm, you will have to drink a lot of cups, and I mean a lot of cups, like more than 6. Only then, you might get dehydrated and more important than that, you are likely addicted to tea. So, just stick to drinking normal moderate amounts of green tea and that will never be an issue.   26. It is really simple. Place your green tea bag in a cup. Then, take a cup of fresh cool water and bring it to a boil. After it has started boiling, remove it from over the heat and let it sit for a couple minutes to cool it down just slightly. Then pour it in the cup with the green tea bag in it. Then, steep the tea for just about a couple of minutes to achieve great taste. Lastly, just remove the tea bag and enjoy the tasty and healthy green tea.

It is important to prepare the green tea as they are generally quite delicate as they are not processed much and are more in the natural side of things. Maybe that is why they are so healthy. Anyway, what was I saying? yeah. be really careful and exact when preparing the green tea as brewing it plays an important part in its taste and even its benefits. First thing to remember is to heat the water to the appropriate temperature. Do not overheat water as boiling water the beneficial catechins in the green tea. to get the best outcome, boil the water and let it sit for a few minutes to let it cool down just a bit. Then only pour it over the tea leaves and let the tea steep for a minute or two before removing them. Bye ladies, follow these instructions and you will make the best version of your green tea.

But still, Plain, the green teas which are minimally processed are believed to have the highest amount of nutritional content. What is really awesome about green tea which assists in weight loss greatly is that it provides so many nutrients to the body but has almost no calories in it.
