If your skin looks dry, tired, rough or dull at night, you may have seen this beauty trick everywhere:
“Just open 1 Evion 400 capsule, apply it on your face before sleeping, and wake up with glowing skin.”
It sounds almost too easy.
One tiny green capsule.
One night.
And supposedly soft, glowing skin by morning.
Vitamin E is indeed an important antioxidant and is widely used in skincare products because it can help support the skin barrier and protect the skin from oxidative damage.
But there is one important thing most viral beauty hacks don’t tell you:
Evion 400 is primarily an oral vitamin E supplement, not a facial serum.
Applying the thick oil from a vitamin E capsule directly to your face may suit some very dry skin types, but it can also feel heavy, clog-prone or irritating for others.
So rather than covering your entire face with undiluted capsule oil, here is a gentler way to try the idea.
What You Need
For one application:
- Your regular fragrance-free night moisturiser – about 1 tsp
- A very small amount of vitamin E oil from an Evion 400 capsule
- A clean bowl or the palm of your hand
You do not need to use the entire capsule on your face.
That is where many people go wrong.
Procedure
Start by washing your face with a gentle cleanser.
Pat your skin dry with a clean towel.
Take about 1 tsp of your usual moisturiser in your palm.
Pierce an Evion 400 capsule with a clean pin.
Instead of squeezing the entire capsule out, add only 1–2 small drops to your moisturiser.
Mix well.
Apply a thin layer over the driest areas of your face.
Avoid the eyelids, corners of the nose and lips.
Massage very gently for about 30 seconds.
Leave it on overnight only if your skin feels comfortable.
Wash your face normally the next morning.
What Might You Notice the Next Morning?
The biggest overnight difference is usually not a dramatic change in pigmentation or wrinkles.
It is hydration.
Skin that is properly moisturised tends to look:
- Softer
- Smoother
- Plumper
- Less flaky
- More luminous
- Temporarily less tired
This can create the impression that your skin has transformed overnight.
In reality, much of that glow comes from improving moisture retention.
Why Vitamin E Is Used in Skincare
Vitamin E is an antioxidant.
In professionally formulated skincare products, vitamin E is often combined with other ingredients because it can help support the skin’s protective barrier and reduce oxidative stress.
That is why you will see vitamin E in:
Moisturisers.
Night creams.
Face oils.
Lip products.
Body lotions.
And anti-aging formulations.
But there is a difference between a skincare product formulated with vitamin E and squeezing an oral vitamin capsule directly onto your skin.
More is not always better.
The Biggest Mistake People Make With Evion 400
People often think:
“If a few drops are good, the whole capsule must be even better.”
Not necessarily.
Vitamin E oil can be extremely thick.
If you have oily or acne-prone skin, putting a heavy layer over your entire face may leave your skin greasy and may contribute to clogged pores in some people.
Some people can also develop irritation or contact dermatitis from topical vitamin E.
This is why you should always do a patch test first.
Apply a tiny diluted amount behind your ear or along the jawline.
Wait at least 24 hours.
If you notice itching, burning, redness or bumps, do not use it on your face.
