3 Natural DIYs to Magically Remove Suntan from the Body

One can’t totally avoid to go out in the sun when there is some work to be done. But when you come back home and check your face and other visible areas, you see that it has got suntanned. If you do not take any prompt action on it timely, the tan could get more in-depth.


There are several home-based natural and easy to prepare DIYs that you can use to remove those irritating and harmful suntans.

1) Gram Flour and Turmeric Face Pack

Ingredients:

  • Gram Flour or Besan – 3 or 4 tablespoons
  • Turmeric – ¼ tablespoon
  • Water – half a cup
  • Skimmed milk – 1 tablespoon

Steps to prepare the paste:

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and stir well to prepare a thick paste.
  2. Apply it on the suntan affected areas including the skin and other visible parts.
  3. Leave it to dry for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Wash it thoroughly with cold water.
  5. While washing the paste, massage the wet skin smoothly with your fingers in the clockwise and anti-clockwise direction for a minute to make it appear smooth.
  6. Use this pack every alternate day for the desired results.

This pack acts as an instant exfoliator and dead skin removal agent to treat the suntan. It removes the microbes and oiliness from the skin and exposes the clear skin layer. Turmeric makes the skin brighter and kills the bacteria. Skimmed milk acts as a skin-whitening agent.

2)    Aloe vera, Tomato, and Lentils Face Pac

Ingredients:

  • Red lentils or masoor daal – 2 tablespoons
  • One tomato
  • Aloe vera extracts

Steps to prepare paste:

  1. Cut an inch aloe vera plant and remove its gel extracts with a knife or spoon’s help.
  2. Take one tomato and given the number of red lentils and make their puree using a grinder. Add aloe vera to this puree and mix well.
  3. Apply this face pack to those skin areas that have been affected with the suntan and let it dry for at least half an hour.
  4. Wash it thoroughly with cold water.
  5. If you feel any skin irritation while applying the paste, then wash it off as soon as it dries.
  6. Apply this paste two times a week.

Red lentils and tomato both are considered as a good suntan removal agent. Also, the tomato has astringent that works well while dealing with suntans and brightens the skin. Aloe vera acts as a soothing agent and provides much-needed relief from the sun rays.

3)    Raw papaya and Honey Face Pack

Ingredients:

  • Raw papaya – few slices
  • Honey – 1 tablespoon
  • Water – 2-3 tablespoons

  Steps to prepare the face pack:

  1. Grind the papaya slices in a grinder to make a thick puree and add honey to it.
  2. Then add water and mix well to make a thick face mask.
  3. Apply it on those skin areas that have been exposed to sun rays and caused suntans.
  4. Wash it off after keeping it intact for 10-15 minutes.
  5. You can apply this paste 2-3 times a week.

Papaya is a skin exfoliator type that lightens the darken skin areas and makes it appear radiant. It also removes dead skin cells and treats the skin well. Honey provides brightness to the skin.
