Today I am going to share one hair mask with all of you, may be you will not get any surprising change after first application but after 2-3 applications you can see changes yourself.
Honey contains a small amount of peroxide and when you mix cinnamon with honey, it boosts the lightening process and adds a golden tone to your hair. Honey also acts as a natural conditioner and helps in locking in the moisture.
Just mix an eyeball amount of honey and cinnamon depending on the requirement (and of course length and thickness!) of your hair. Blend it well and then add hair balsam to it. Mix it again. The mixture is going to be bit messy. You have been warned!
Divide your hair into strands and apply the mixture on your damp hair with the help of a brush. Or the best way is to dip your hands into that ooey-gooey awesome smelling mixture and slather it evenly on your hair. After applying the paste thoroughly, lift your hair and put it in a bun and cover it up with a plastic bag. Let it dry for some time.
Once it’s dry, rinse it out with water. You might be thinking that honey is usually so thick and sticky, so how are you going to get it out of your hair – but no! It’s the cinnamon that actually hangs on for dear life to your pretty mane. So, be gentle don’t lose your patience!
Rinse it really well and then start shampooing. Follow Lather, Rinse and Repeat till the time you notice any left-over specks of cinnamon. End it up with a regular conditioner (using the conditioner or not is totally up to you, as honey is a natural conditioner and that’s already present in the hair mask). Dry your hair with a towel and wait; can you smell a lovely fragrance? Yup, that’s coming from your hair. Voila!
You may or may not find any difference in the first use (because it depends on the texture and type of your hair), but after using this hair mask for the 3rd time, you will definitely be surprised with the amazing results! It will make your hair color up to 4 shades lighter!
