Apply rice powder with curd to remove blackheads

In previous articles, I have already told that exfoliation is very important for our skin as it removes the dead layer of skin. Everyone should include scrubbing in their skincare regimen. Today I am going to discuss recipe of scrub made with rice powder and curd, this scrub is very effective for blackheads. I am also listing down a few more DIY scrub recipes with rice powder or curd as the main ingredient.

DIY Simple rice powder-curd facial scrub recipe

Ingredients required:

  • Powdered rice
  • Curd

You will find these in your kitchen always, so no problem up to here. Now let me tell step by step procedure in detail.

Procedure:

  1. Take about a teaspoon of powdered rice.
  2. Add one tablespoon of curd
  3. Mix well. It can be applied instantly, but I prefer to let the rice powder soak in the curd for around 5-10 minutes so that it becomes softer.
  4. Apply this all over the face and neck and leave for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Wet your hands and scrub away the pack using gentle and circular strokes.
  6. Wash with ample water, wipe dry and say “hello” to fresh baby soft skin!
  7. For blackheads apply this daily on the affected area.

Ingredients required:

  • Rice flour: 1 tablespoon
  • Manuka honey: as much as required
  • Lavender essential oil: 1 drop

Procedure:

  1. Add all the ingredients in the specified quantities in a mixing bowl.
  2. Give it a good stir to make sure that all the ingredients get mixed up well.
  3. Just make sure that your face is squeaky clean before using this facial scrub.
  4. Dot it all over your face.
  5. Gently scrub it off in small circular strokes with a light hand.
  6. Rinse off with running tap water.

Ingredients required:

  • Rice flour: 2 tablespoons
  • Plain milk: 1 teaspoon

  3. Give it a good stir to make sure that everything gets mixed up well.

Ingredients required:

  • Rice: 2 tablespoons
  • Glycerin: 1 tablespoon
  • Aloe vera gel: 1 tablespoon
  • Any massaging oil of your choice: a few drops

Procedure:

  1. Run the grains of rice through a food processor at first to get finely granulated rice with a powdery texture.
  2. Then add glycerine in it and mix.
  3. Once you are done, all aloe vera gel and massage oil and mix it again.
  4. That’s it your scrub is ready.
  5. Make sure that your face is squeaky clean before using this scrub.
  6. Gently apply it on your face and body while taking a shower.

  2. Give it a good stir to make sure all the ingredients get infused into each other.
  3. Wipe your face with micellar water.
  4. Spread this scrub evenly all over your face.
  5. Then exfoliate in small circular strokes to get rid of damaged and dead skin cells from the topmost layer of your skin.
  6. Wash it off with running tap water.
  7. Follow up either with a facial mist or a toner.

Ingredients required:

  • Rice powder: 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil: 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice: 1 teaspoon

  1. To try out an effective skin whitening treatment at home, mix all the ingredients together.
  2. Keep stirring until you achieve a smooth face pack with a medium consistency.
