STEPS

  1. Stand straight on a floor with your shoes on.
  2. Lower your body on the floor the way you do standard squats.
  3. Make sure your feet are shoulder width apart.
  4. Now, jump high on the same spot instead of raising your body upward.
  5. And return on the ground in the initial (squat position) position.
  6. Do 3 sets of 20 each of this exercise.
  7. Take rest of 20-30 seconds between each set.

  1. Stand straight on the floor.
  2. Make sure you keep your feet together and hands by your side.
  3. Then, jump high and spread your legs and raise your arms above your head and instantly clap and come back to your initial position.
  4. Do 4 sets of 20 each of this exercise daily.
  5. Take rest of 30 seconds between each set.

This exercise engages the whole body at the same time. It helps in burning up to 100 calories a day. It tones the leg muscles and improves your metabolism, which helps in burning the calories at faster rate. It also improves the cardiovascular health and improves the heart rate.

PENDULUMS

You need:

  • A pair of sports shoes

STEPS

  1. Stand straight on the floor and keep your feet shoulder width apart.
  2. Now, place both your hands on your waist.
  3. Balance your whole body weight on your right foot and lift up the left leg and bend it behind you. Make sure your left leg does not touch the ground.
  4. Bring your left hand forward and try to touch the floor on your right side.
  5. Hold this position for at least 15 seconds and then come back to the initial position.
  6. Now, repeat this process with the other foot.
  7. Do 25 repetitions of this exercise daily. You can take a rest of 10 seconds after 7 repetitions.

CROSS CRAWL

You need:

STEPS

  1. Stand straight on a floor. Keep your legs apart and your arms by your side.
  2. Then, raise your arms high.
  3. Now, bring your right leg up by bending the right knee. Simultaneously, bring your left elbow down and make it meet your right knee.
  4. Then, return to the initial position and bring your left knee up and bring your right elbow down and make it touch the left knee.
  5. Do 30  repetitions of this exercise daily to loose the excess body weight.
  6. You can take a break of 10 seconds after 10 repetitions.

SIDE LUNGES

You need:

  • A pair of sports shoes

STEPS

  1. Stand straight on the floor.
  2. Keep your feet hip-width apart. Now, put your hands on your  waist.
  3. Now, lower down your body sideways by bending the right knee. Your right knee should not v=cross your right foot.
  4. Then, push your body up and come back to the initial position.
  5. Now, bend your left knee sideways and lower down your body in the same direction. Again, make sure your left knee does not cross your left foot.
  6. Then, push your body up and come back to the original position.
  7. Do 20 – 30 repetitions of this exercise.
  8. You can take  a rest of 10 seconds in between the repetitions.

It helps in toning the quadriceps, hamstrings, butt and abdomen. It stretches the muscles and tissues thus helps in loosing the excessive fat from the body. Also, it helps in improving your posture and balance. It improves the core stability as well.

BURPEES

You need: 

  • A pair of sports shoes

STEPS

  1. Stand straight on the floor with your legs a little apart. Then, lower down your body to a squat position and keep your hands on the ground.
  2. Then, move your feet back so that you come in a push-up (exercise)  position. Do a push up.
  3. Then, jump and come back to the squat position and then come back to the initial position and stand straight on the floor. This entire series of exercises accounts for one repetition.
  4. Do at least 2 sets of 20 repetitions of each daily.
  5. You can take rest of 30 seconds between the sets.

This exercise targets the core, butts, abs and legs. It increases the heart beat rate thus helps in burning the fat quickly. It tones your muscles by reducing the excess accumulated fat from your body. This series of exercise helps in improving your stamina and metabolism.
