How to detox your hair

Cleanse your scalp:

Your hair’s appearance and health depend on your scalp’s health effect and hygiene. Your scalp has many problems such as fungal infections, dry skin, skin cancer and some chronic skin conditions including eczema and psoriasis. Broken, oily, thin hair and dandruff are because of an unhealthy scalp. To improve the appearance of your hair and reduce flaking and itching clean your scalp properly. To remove oil and dirt and loosen dead skin cells regularly shampoo your scalp. Look for the products which have natural ingredients and try to avoid using harsh shampoos.

Don’t brush wet hair:

Don’t brush your wet hair because they are weaker than dry hair even don’t use a fine-toothed comb when it is wet. After washing your hair, dry them with a towel and after that use a wide-toothed comb to detangle it.

Brush your hair:

With a good quality brush, brush your hair from root to tip to make your hair more manageable, shinier and less prone to breakage. Brush your hair 100 times at night time, and it will help you to save your money on hair-care products. Brush your hair from root to tip gradually, and this will allow you to remove the tangles gently. To brush your hair, it is advisable to use a boar-bristle brush instead of a regular brush. You may say that these brushes are more expensive than regular brushes, but you must know that they are densely packed and last for years. The brush is specially designed to remove dust and dirt and move your natural oils to cleanse your hair without the shampoo. Handle your hair with care:

And when you don’t do it, your hair will dry out and become fragile over time. To protect your hair from getting too fried, wear a scarf or hat over your hair while going outside in the sun. Also, avoid going outside with wet hair during the winter season as they can get frayed and brittle. Avoid harsh chemicals to protect your hair and don’t expose your hair to chlorine too often.

Eat healthy food:

The health of your hair depends on your overall health, it means that if your hair is dull and dead then your body is as well. Eat the foods that are full of vitamins and minerals as these are very necessary for healthy and shiny hair. A balanced diet with natural oils is very important for hair shine and health. Make sure you are eating walnuts, salmon, yogurt, spinach, sweet potatoes, and blueberries to get protein, vitamins, zinc, and minerals on a daily basis.

Conditioning:

Conditioning on a regular basis is really great but for truly shiny and healthy hair it is best to add a leave-in conditioner to your routine. These are available in both lotion and spray forms, and you can use them as a regular conditioner.

Wash with freshwater:

Don’t wash your hair with hot water as it can dry out your hair and make it dull. To shampoo and condition your hair, it is better to use cold water.

There is a temporary glossy on your hair and last about four to six months, but you can do this treatment even at your home as the glossing kits are available on the market. Take care of your hair professionally but it doesn’t mean that you spend hundreds or thousands of dollars to buy expensive products or waste in a professional salon. Just be gentle with your hair, use some home remedies and apply some products with natural ingredients.

  2. Mix it well until you achieve a smooth lump-free hair mask.
