DIY Skin Lifting Face Mask

Ageing makes you wiser, but at the same time it makes your skin look dull and saggy. As we age, our skin tends to loose the oil and moisturisation, due to which it becomes dry. But worry not, in this article we are going to share few of the bests face masks for skin lifting.



  1. Grind a tablespoon of oatmeal in a grinder till it becomes powdery.
  2. Now, add a tablespoon of gram flour to it and mix them together.
  3. Add two teaspoons of honey and a two tablespoons of rose water to this.
  4. Mix all the ingredients together.
  5. Apply this face mask in upward motion and let it sit for 20 minutes.
  6. Then, rinse it off using normal water and pat dry your skin.
  7. Apply this face 2 times a week for a young skin.

How this works:

Oatmeal removes the dead skin cells and also tightens up the open pores. Gram flour improves your skin tone and helps in lifting up the sagging skin. Honey moisturises the skin. Rose water provides required consistency to the mask. This is how all the ingredients work together to lift up the dull skin.



  1. Mash a ripe banana in a bowl. Add two teaspoons of honey and half a tablespoon of olive oil to it.
  2. Mix all the ingredients together.
  3. Then, apply it on your face in upward motion and massage your face in circular motion.
  4. Then, let it sit for 20 minutes.
  5. Wipe it off using a wet towel or wash cloth and then rinse off your face with cold water and a mild face wash.
  6. Apply this face mask at least 2 times a week for effective results.

How this works:

Banana makes your skin soft and supple. It lifts up the sagging skin and rejuvenates it. Honey moisturises the skin and treats dryness. Olive oil treats the damages skin cells.



  1. Mix half a tablespoon of castor oil with two teaspoons of lemon juice.
  2. Add 2- 3 drops of lavender oil to it.
  3. Apply this to your face and massage in upward circular motion for 10 minutes.
  4. Leave it as it is for overnight.
  5. The next morning, rinse your face with cold water and a mild face cleanser.
  6. Do this remedy every alternate night for tightened skin.

How this works:

Castor oil softens the skin by nourishing it. It makes the skin smooth and firm. Lemon juice is rich in vitamin and also balances the pH level of the skin. Lavender oil makes you feel refreshed and relaxed.



  1. To a tablespoon of fuller’s earth, add half a tablespoon of yoghurt.
  2. Then, add half a tablespoon of rose water to it.
  3. Mix all the ingredients together and apply it on your face.
  4. Rinse it after 15 minutes, with cold water.
  5. Apply this face mask once every alternate day.

How this works:

Fuller’s earth tightens the skin and removes the dirt from deep within the skin pores. Yoghurt maintains the skin balance and moisturises it. Rose water provides required consistency.
