A Study says that every 40 seconds a new baby comes to this world. So that means, there are a lot of pregnant women out there. This doesn’t mean that pregnancy is an easy task.
It is unique and different and important to every single woman. That said, there are few things that occur commonly among most women during their early stages of pregnancy. Here are some of the common signs and symptoms that you should look out for.
Symptom 1 – Fatigue
Growing a human inside you is not a small task, this means you are surviving not one but two or three lives inside you and that is sure to get anyone tired. If you find yourself tired all the time and want to sleep or lie down, do not worry, it is common during pregnancy.
To keep yourself refreshed and going, try doing some exercises, but make sure to check with your doctor before you begin a routine.
Symptom 2 – Nausea
One of the most immediate and common symptoms that occurs during pregnancy is nausea. Every tiny smell or odour or taste can make you want to puke. This is part of the pregnancy. Vomiting isn’t exactly helpful as your baby and you need all the nutrition and energy, so it is best to identify the smells and tastes that you don’t like and try to avoid it.
Symptom 3 – Tender Breasts
Another one of the common symptom during the early stages of pregnancy is Brest tenderness or sore breast. It can sometimes just pain while slightly touching them. This is in similar to how it felt during your first menstruation period when your breast started developing.
Sometimes if someone hits you on your breast or hugs you tight, it might send a shooting pain, do not worry. This won’t last long, only till the first trimester mainly due to the fact that the breasts are preparing themselves for breastfeeding later.
Symptom 4 – Frequent Urination
This is not just an early pregnancy symptom, this one would last the whole time of your pregnancy. One can however easily identify if they are pregnant by their urination counts. If it is frequent, it is because you are pregnant. It happens due to the fact that kidney processes more liquids during the early stage which is mainly because of the increase in blood volume. During the course of your pregnancy, due to an expanding uterus, the bladder becomes small and frequent urination occurs.
Symptom 5 – Mood Swings
This is one of the symptoms that your partner can notice more than you do. Hormones are in full work when a woman conceives and that means mood swings. The sudden surge in hormones can leave you angry, happy, sad and moody all at once. This can affect your work and personal life.
If you see yourself shouting at something really petty, make sure to calm down, take deep breaths, because mood swings are going to be part of you this whole term.
