How To Get Rid of Dark Lip Corners

The skin around our lips is very soft and sensitive. It is a little thin and gets affected quickly from pollution, sweat, stress and other environmental factors. A lot of people overlook the corners of their lip until it starts looking a little dark and tanned. Although there are a lot of cosmetic products present in the market for dark lips, going the herbal way always pays off both for your pocket and your skin.

Lemon Juice and Sugar

How To:

  1. Mix a tablespoon both of lemon juice and castor sugar together to make a thick coarse paste with little granules of sugar still remaining in the mixture.
  2. Apply this paste on your lips and spread it evenly using your fingers. Dab the mixture a bit to cover the corners of the lip perfectly.
  3. Leave the paste like it is for about 10-15 minutes and then wash it off with some lukewarm water and a clean washcloth.
  4. Repeat this process two to three times in a week to get perfect smooth lips which match the complexion of the surrounding skin.

Lemon juice has skin bleaching and whitening properties which makes it perfect for eradicating dark skin. The texture of sugar makes it a very good exfoliator. Using this paste regularly will clear your skin of any dead skin cells or other impurities making your skin appear dark.

Coconut Oil

How To:

  1. Try to use virgin coconut oil for this remedy as it works better than liquid or purified coconut oil.
  2. Take a little dollop of coconut oil on your fingers and spread it across your lips. Massage the lips a little as well.
