Imagine this: Your skin is perfect, your facial features are perfect and beautiful, your body is fit and strong. You could be perfect, but there is one little imperfection, which bothers you and remind you every day that no one is perfect – your double chin. It’s definitely one of my worst nightmares. But, don’t worry, there are tricks, tips and exercises for getting rid of your double chin.
Tongue press. Your back should be straight and your shoulders relaxed. Look at the ceiling and press your tongue to the top of your mouth. Keep that position of the tongue and lower your chin to your chest. Move just your head, don’t bow. When you feel the contract of your neck and chin, release the tongue. Go back to the starting position. Do this exercise two times of 20 reps.
The O. The same position of the back and the shoulders – straight and relaxed. Look again at the ceiling and form a small O with your lips. Hold that for 20 seconds. Relax and lower the chin. Complete two sets of 10 reps each.
Kiss the ceiling. It’s like The O, but when you look at the ceiling position your lips as you are kissing someone. Extend your lips as far as you can. Hold for five seconds and then relax. Do 15 reps, twice.
I call this one “The Miley Cyrus”. It’s about sticking your tongue out. Open your mouth as wide as you can and stick your tongue out. Hold this position for 10 seconds. Relax and start from the beginning. Do this 10 times.
It’s not only about the chin exercises. The double chin is fat. If you want to get rid of it you should lose weight in general, so think about your diet and fitness. Add the chin exercises to a regular workout routine.
