Finding the perfect cleanser for your skin type is key to any skincare routine, and I’ve discovered one with an irresistible blueberry candy scent. This cleanser’s sweet blueberry fragrance instantly lifts my mood and makes the skin care routine feel indulgent rather than a chore.
What Makes This Cleanser Special?
The formula features a powerful blend of antioxidant-rich blueberry extract, hyaluronic acid, and AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Acids), which effortlessly remove makeup, dirt, sweat, and other impurities. Despite being a water-based cleanser, it also effectively tackles excess oil and sebum, meaning no need for double cleansing at night—that sounds good to my ears!
Although brand claim, there is no need to use any oil based cleanser, but if you use sunscreen and make up on your face in day time, I must feel that you should use oil based cleanser first.

It’s designed to cleanse without stripping the skin, helping to fight blemishes and breakouts while leaving the skin bouncy and hydrated. Plus, it boosts the effectiveness of the rest of your skincare routine—yes, it’s that good!
Shelf Life: The product has a shelf life of 18 months once opened.
How to Use It
- As a Cleanser: Dispense one pump into wet palms and rub to create a lather. Massage onto wet skin for about a minute, then rinse with lukewarm water. Your skin will feel refreshed and bouncy.
- As a Makeup Remover: Use two pumps to create a richer lather, and gently massage into your face and neck in circular motions to remove all traces of makeup (goodbye, panda eyes!). Rinse thoroughly and follow with the rest of your skincare.
- As a 5-Minute Mask: Apply a generous layer to clean, dry skin. After 5 minutes, rinse with lukewarm water and finish with a splash of cold water for a refreshing feel.
Ingredients of Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser
This cleanser is packed with skin-loving ingredients like:

pH Level: The brand claims a pH of 5.5, but when I tested it, the pH was closer to 7—a bit higher than ideal but not overly harsh.
My Review of Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser
I initially purchased this cleanser because of its promised pH level of 5.5, which is perfect for maintaining the skin’s natural barrier. However, my test showed the pH was higher than claimed, though this didn’t cause any irritation for me.
Texture & Packaging: The gel-based formula is lightweight and lathers beautifully on wet skin, providing an easy and refreshing cleanse. It comes in a clear bottle with a pump, so you can easily monitor how much product you have left, and one pump is enough for your whole face.
Not very impressed with pump bottle, was expecting more from Glow Recipe brand.
Performance: After massaging the foam into my skin for a minute, it leaves my face feeling fresh and clean without any residue. However, if you have dry skin, I wouldn’t recommend this as it may be too drying due to the inclusion of AHAs.
Final Thoughts on Ingredients
This cleanser contains both glycolic acid and lactic acid—two well-known AHAs that gently exfoliate and brighten the skin. If you use this in the morning, make sure to follow up with sunscreen, as AHAs can increase sun sensitivity. Additionally, if you have sensitive skin or are allergic to any of the ingredients, this may not be the best option for you.
Overall, this cleanser is a great option for oily or combination skin types who want a refreshing and effective cleanse without needing to double cleanse at night. However, if you have dry or sensitive skin, you can give this cleanser a pass.
No doubt this is a good cleanser but no WOW factor. What I felt, you pay more and you get less, for just that scent I will not pay this much amount.
