You Will Need:

  • 1/2 Cup of Aloe Vera Gel
  • 2 Teaspoons of Hibiscus Flower Paste

How To:

  1. Put both the ingredients in a small cup or a bowl and give them a quick mix.
  2. Aloe vera gel and hibiscus flower paste are not exactly homogenous so they’ll need to be mixed over a hot water bath for better consistency.
  3. Once the ingredients have fused together, allow it to cool down completely then store it in a tight bottle away from direct sunlight.
  4. This is a conditioner which can be used as a leave-in conditioner or when you are taking a shower. Just spray a little amount on your hair and distribute it thoroughly using your fingers.
  5. You can wash off the conditioner right away while you are showering or use lukewarm water after some time if you applied it as a leave-in conditioner.
  6. This DIY conditioner can be used on every alternate day or whenever you decide to wash your hair.

This hibiscus flower paste conditioner is very effective in stimulating hair growth. It strengthens the hair follicles making them stronger and thicker and increase in number. Adding a little bit of olive oil in the mixture will also give your hair a lustrous shine.

Triphala and Aloe Vera

You Will Need:

  • 1 Tablespoon of Triphala Powder
  • 2 Tablespoons of Aloe Vera Gel
  • Water

How To:

  1. Take a couple of cups of water and add a tablespoon of Triphala powder in it.
  2. Put this mixture on medium heat and boil it until it reduces to half its size.
  3. Once the mixture has cooled down completely, add a couple of tablespoons of aloe vera gel into it. Mix them properly together.
  4. Gently spread this mixture on your scalp and hair and leave it on for an hour or so.
  5. Use a mild herbal shampoo and lukewarm water to wash off the paste from your hair.
  6. This process can be repeated twice or thrice in a week for better hair growth.

  2. Apply this paste on your damp hair and massage the scalp thoroughly with your fingers. You can also use a hairbrush to better distribute the paste through your hair.
  3. This is an anti-dandruff serum and needs about an hour or so to effectively work on the dandruff present in your hair and scalp.
  4. Wash off the paste with a mild shampoo and lukewarm water.
  5. Use this remedy just twice a week to make your hairs dandruff free and cure hair fall.

Dandruff occurs when your hair follicles get clogged with dead skin cells, dirt, dust, and other such impurities. Tea tree oil is very useful in this case as it unclogs the pores from deep within while keeping the nutrition of your hair intact, unlike many commercial products.

Amla and Aloe Vera

You Will Need:

  • 1 Tablespoon of Crushed Amla Pulp
  • 1 Tablespoon of Aloe Vera Gel

How To:

  1. Take equal amounts of aloe vera gel and amla pulp and mix them together in a small bowl.
  2. Use a spoon or your fingers to part your hair and apply this paste on your scalp.
  3. Cover the paste and your hair with a shower cap for an hour or so before rinsing it off with lukewarm water.
  4. Following up with a shampoo is not needed for this remedy.
  5. Repeat this remedy twice or thrice a week for best results.
