Home Remedies To Control Hair Fall

Hair fall is a very common problem faced by almost everyone these days because of the stress, pollution, hectic and unhealthy lifestyle, sometimes it can be seasonal too etc. Due to which we end up spending too much on hair care products like hair oils, hair masks etc. These products do nothing or very little for our hair. The most effective way of controlling hair fall is to use various hair masks made at home, using natural ingredients.

ALMA (GOOSEBERRY)

STEPS

  1. Chop 2 amlas in a bowl and put it in a saucepan.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons of coconut oil to this saucepan and put it on stove.
  3. Keep it on high flame till the oil starts to turn black.
  4. Once done, turn off the flame and wait till the oil cools down.
  5. Transfer this oil in a bottle for easy application.
  6. Apply this oil to your hair and scalp and massage in circular motion for 10 minutes.
  7. Leave it the same way for overnight.
  8. Then the next morning wash your hair with a mild shampoo.
  9. Do this remedy thrice a week for 2 months to see the results.

How does it work?

Amlas are well known for making our hair roots strong. Also, it makes our hair darker in colour and promotes hair growth. Coconut oil moisturises the scalp and hair and prevents dry hair.

GRAM FLOUR AND YOGHURT

STEPS

  1. In a bowl, take a tablespoon of gram flour and 2 tablespoons of yoghurt.
  2. Mix them together, then add half a tablespoon of lemon juice to it.
  3. Apply this mask to your scalp and the length of your hair.
  4. Let it sit for 20 minutes.
  5. Then, rinse it off with normal water and wash your hair with a mild shampoo.
  6. Do this remedy twice every week for a month to see the positive results.

How does it work?

Gram flour makes your hair roots strong and treats split ends, thus promotes the hair growth. Yoghurt maintains the pH level of your scalp and controls the excess oil production, thus reduces hair fall. Also, this hair maks makes your hair smooth and shiny.

ALOE VERA AND NEEM

STEPS

  1. Take 2 aloe vera leaves and slit each of them in two equal halves. Extract the gel out of each of them and collect it in a bowl.
  2. Add a tablespoon of neem powder to this bowl and mix two of them properly.
  3. Then, add half a tablespoon of shikakai powder to it.
  4. Then, add 2-3 tablespoons of amla juice to this mixture. Keep adding the amla juice till the paste becomes consistent enough for application.
  5. Apply this mixture to your hair and scalp.
  6. Massage your scalp with it in circular motion for 5 minutes, so that it gets sit in your scalp completely.
  7. Then, leave it as it is for half an hour.
  8. Then, rinse it off with normal water and if required, wash your hair with a mild shampoo.
  9. Do this remedy once every week for the best results.

Aloe vera makes your hair stronger and silkier. Neem is known for fighting the bacteria, thus promotes hair growth and makes your hair dense. Shikakai nourishes the hair scalp and also makes your hair darker. Amla promotes hair growth.
