Bloodroot paste

Dip a cotton ball in hydrogen peroxide, squeeze out the excess solution. Wipe the skin tag and surrounding areas with the cotton ball and then take a tad bit of this paste on the affected area. Cover up this part with a cotton ball and keep it on for a while or at least a couple of hours.

Apple cider vinegar

Take a little bit of apple cider vinegar, soak a cotton ball in it and then keep it on the affected area or wrap it up with a bandage for about 10 minutes. Do it twice or thrice every day until the skin tag falls off on its own.


Tie a string around your skin tag and keep it on for a while. Tighten it as much as you can, keep an eye on it and you will see it drying up. Do it every day and you will notice that it will fall off on its own. If you keep tightening it, the blood flow around the surrounding area will reduce and it will gradually come off.


Take a few garlic cloves, crush it into a paste and then cover up the affected areas with garlic paste. Cover up the affected areas with a bandage to prevent this paste from spreading. Keep it overnight, wash the surrounding area with water and you are good to go. You can easily get rid of moles and skin tags in a few weeks if you follow this home remedy.

At first, wash the affected area with a mild soap or disinfectant to make sure that your skin is squeaky clean. Pat dry your skin with a towel to make sure that it is dried out before applying anything on your skin. Next up take a clear coat polish and apply it on your skin and the surrounding areas. Wrap it up with a bandage overnight, remove the bandage the next morning. Repeat this every week to get the best result.

Duct tape

Cut out a duct tape in a small rectangular shape. Stick it on the affected area, do not remove it until blood flow to that area is stopped and wait for the skin tag to die and fall out on its own. Although this method is considered unsafe by a medical practitioner as the adhesive from the tape can cause skin infections.

Oregano oil

If you have the patience for 3-4 weeks for your skin tag to fall off on its own, then definitely try out this home remedy. Add around 3 drops of oregano oil to 6 drops of coconut oil. Mix it well and then apply this concoction on the affected area. Repeat this process thrice a day and your skin wart fill drop off in 3-4 weeks.

Fig stem sap

All you have to do is cut out the branch of a fig tree and then ooze out its juice on the skin tag. Do it twice a day without fail and the skin wart will fall off on its own in some time.

Banana peel

Take a green banana peel and rub it to the affected areas and after a few weeks your skin wart will fall off on its own. Alternatively, you can also use a banana to do the same thing and ultimately you will get rid of the skin wart in a few weeks.

Turmeric paste

Just take a little bit of turmeric and mix it with water to make a paste and then apply it on your skin warts. Leave it on for a while and then wash it off with plain water. Repeat this process twice for at least 3 weeks to get the best results.

White vinegar
