Homemade hair growth leave-in-conditioner

With the increase in the pollution level throughout the planet and with the rising stress levels, the health of our hair has decreased drastically. Hair fall has become a common problem for all alike .There are many ways to provide nourishment to your hair and improve its growth .And one such way is leave-in- conditioner. It helps the hair to grow and enhances its beauty. Most of us rely on chemically enhanced shampoos and other products for hair growth but we end up doing more damage than cure. This leave-in-conditioner helps to nourish your hair and provides a silky and a smooth texture to it. Preparing this leave-in-conditioner is quite simple and barely takes time.


How to prepare Hair Stimulating Leave-In Conditioner at home

Ingredients

  • 3-4 Vitamin E capsules
  • 3 tablespoons of Coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed Aloe Vera Juice
  • 4 tablespoons of Shea Butter/ 4 tablespoons of whatever ingredient you are using from the ones mentioned below
  • 1 tablespoon of Argan Oil
  • Rosemary Essential Oil – 7 drops

Directions

  • Wash off the blender so as to eliminate the chances of growth of bacteria
  • Heat water in a saucepan and add Argan oil, coconut oil and shear butter to it. Stir the mixture occasionally till it is evenly mixed.
  • Add vitamin E capsules or vitamin E oil and mix the ingredients well. Allow this mixture to cool down to room temperature.
  • The mixture obtained would be creamy in nature. Now add essential oils to it to form the leave-in conditioner. Mix well.
  • Store this mixture in an airtight container and keep it in a cool and dry place.

How to apply this leave-in-conditioner:

Dab your fingers in the container and scoop up a little conditioner or cream on your fingers. Apply this on your hair and leave it overnight for best results.

Note: Avoid using Shea butter if you have tree nut allergy.

1.Herbal Water Leave-in-conditioner

This leave-in-conditioner consists of rosemary and thyme oils which are rich in antiseptic properties. It also consists of shear butter and olive oil which act as moisturizers. These help to improve hair texture. This mixture can be used to fight dandruff, enhance hair growth and provide a soothing effect to the scalp.

Things required to make this mixture:

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon rosemary oil
  • ½ tablespoon thyme oil
  • 1 tablespoon shea butter
  • ½ cup aloe Vera gel
  • ½ cup coconut milk

Process involved:

  • Heat water in a pan over shimmering flame.
  • Add coconut oil, Aloe Vera gel and coconut milk to the mixture.
  • Mix all the remaining oils in a small petri bowl. Add to this the coconut oil mixture.
  • Pour the contents in a small spray bottle and shake well before use.

2.Rosemary and Avocado Hair conditioner

This conditioner helps to stimulate hair growth and also helps to improve the condition of the scalp. The Avocado used in this conditioner enhances the hair growth. It is also rich in proteins that improve the texture of the hair. The Rosemary used in this mixture leads to a healthy scalp and reduces the inflammation in the scalp.

Preparation of the mixture:

  • Melt half cup shea butter in a pan.
  • Add 2 tablespoon Avocado oil followed by 6-7 drops of Rosemary essential oil.
  • Mix well and refrigerate the mixture until it becomes firm.
  • Apply this mixture and leave it overnight for best results.

3.Shea Butter, Lavender and Honey conditioner

Shea butter and honey work wonders for your hair. Known to have moisturizing properties these nurture the hair and provide nutrients to it which enhances the growth and exfoliates its health. The honey provides a smooth texture to your hair and also restores your hair from split ends. It makes the hair soft and silky. The coconut oil mixed with this mixture helps to keep the hair hydrated and prevents the scalp from drying. The Lavender oil being used in this conditioner acts as a stress reliever and helps to enhance the growth of hair.

Ingredients Required:

  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 4-5 drops of lavender oil
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
  • I tablespoon of shea butter

Preparation process:

  • Take a tablespoon of shea butter in a pan and melt it.
  • To this melted mixture add coconut oil and let the flames shimmer for a while.
  • After mixing the solution well, add lavender oil and honey as mentioned above. Mix the mixture thoroughly to get a smooth texture.
  • Keep this mixture in the refrigerator for future use.

4.Honey and Coconut conditioner

This conditioner is all you need if you suffer from dry hair or split ends. It will smoothen out your hair and also prevent further damage to it. This conditioner also uses avocados which are rich in amino acids. It replenishes the proteins and helps to build the health and growth of the hair follicles.

Ingredients required:

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 -3 tablespoons aloe Vera gel
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil

Process to prepare the conditioner:

  • Mix avocado oil and coconut oil in a container. Heat the mixture in a pan over shimmering flames.
  • Mix the above mixture along with aloe Vera gel and pour the contents in a spray bottle.
  • Shake well before use.
  • For repeated use, store the mixture in a cool, dry place.
  • Heat the mixture and allow it to cool down to room temperature before applying it.

5.Lavender Leave-In-Conditioner

The oils found in lavender are rich in nutrients which help to repair the damaged parts of the hair. It also simulates growth and helps to add shine to the hair texture. It adds moisture to the hair thus eliminating the dryness present .Lavender oil is mostly used as a stress reliever. It also helps to soothe the inflammation of the scalp.

Ingredients Required:

  • 5-6 drops of lavender oil
  • 2 tablespoons of shea butter
  • Half a cup of coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons of jojoba oil

Preparation of the mixture:

  • Melt shea butter in a saucepan over shimmering flames.
  • Add coconut milk to the melted shea butter.
  • Add the remaining essential oils to the mixture.
  • The conditioner is ready to use. Simply pour the contents in a spray bottle and store away for later use.
  • Slightly warm the conditioner before applying as it might be solidify with time.

6.Tea oil Hair conditioner

This leave-in-conditioner helps to nourish the strands of hair by providing moisture and helps to heal the scalp and removes dryness and fizziness. The oil extracted from the leaves of the tea tree is diversely rich in antiseptic and antifungal properties. This conditioner strengthens the roots of the hair and provides it with the utmost nourishment required for growth.

  • 2 tablespoons of Tea tree oil
  • Half a cup of coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons of Aloe Vera Gel
  • Half a cup of shea butter

  • Melt shea butter in a saucepan over low flame.
  • To the melted butter add Aloe Vera gel, tea tree oil extracted from its leaves, coconut milk and jojoba oil.
  • Mix the above mixture well and store it in a spray bottle for future use.
  • Keep the mixture refrigerated.

7.China Rose Hair Cream

China rose also known as Hibiscus helps to prevent hair fall and eliminates the causes of dandruff. Hibiscus is also known to balance out the pH levels of our scalp. To add to all this grapefruit is being used which helps to improve our immune system.

Ingredients Required:

  • 1 tablespoon of china rose powder
  • 1 tablespoon of grapefruit seed extract
  • 2 tablespoons of Aloe Vera gel
  • 8-10 tablespoons of water
  • 1 tablespoon of lavender essential oil
  • 2 tablespoons of shea butter

Preparation Procedure:

  • Melt shea butter in a saucepan over low flame.
  • Add to the above melted butter aloe Vera gel and water.
  • Let the mixture cool down to normal room temperature. Add grapefruit seed extract and lavender essential oil to the cooled down mixture.
  • Mix the mixture well and pour the contents in a spray bottle.
  • Sprinkle hibiscus powder over the mixture.
  • Store in a cool, dry place for future use. Refrigerate for increasing the longevity of the mixture.
