You need just 1 ingredient to prevent aging signs

Expanding on this, she adds, “Cornstarch also boasts advantages for the skin, as it contains protein and aids in delaying the visible signs of aging. It assists in reinforcing collagen, the skin’s supportive tissues. Additionally, it contains amino acids, minerals, and Vitamin A. Cornstarch helps in absorbing excess oil from the skin, reducing oiliness, and preventing pimples and acne. In fact, it is particularly beneficial for acne-prone skin.”

To prepare this DIY treatment, you will need:

  • Peel of 1 Banana
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon of rice
  • 1/2 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of powdered milk


  1. Begin by peeling a banana.
  2. Cut the banana peel into small pieces.
  3. Take a pan and add a cup of water.
  4. Place the pieces of banana peel into the pan.
  5. Add a tablespoon of rice to the pan.
  6. Allow the ingredients to boil for approximately 10-12 minutes.
  7. Once boiled, remove from heat and set aside.
  8. After the mixture has cooled slightly, transfer it to an electric mixer or grinder.
  9. Grind the ingredients until you achieve a smooth mixture.
  10. Strain the mixture into a bowl to remove any remaining chunks.
  11. To the bowl, add a tablespoon of cornstarch.
  12. Then, incorporate half a tablespoon of lemon juice.
  13. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly.
  14. Finally, add one teaspoon of powdered milk and blend well.
  15. Transfer the mixture into a jar for storage.
  16. You can apply the face mask immediately or store it in the refrigerator for up to 7 days for future use
