Oats and Yogurt for Removing Blackheads

You Will Need:

  • 2 Tablespoons of Oats
  • 3 Tablespoons of Yogurt
  • 1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil
  • 3-4 Drops of Lemon Juice

How To:

  1. Grind two tablespoons of oats to obtains a fine powder.
  2. Add three tablespoons of yogurt to the oat powder along with a tablespoon of olive oil and some drops of lemon juice.
  3. Mix all the ingredients together to make a thick and coarse paste.
  4. Spread this paste on your face and on the blackheads and let it sit there for about 10-15 minutes.
  5. Wash off the paste by scrubbing it with your fingers and using cold water.
  6. Use this process thrice a week to get rid of the blackheads from your skin, especially the nose.

There is an element called saponin present in oats which makes it a very good natural skin cleanser. It seeps into the pores of the skin and cleans it completely to get rid of any kind of blackhead very efficiently.


Milk and Oats Body Scrub for Skin Whitening

You Will Need:

  • 4 Tablespoons of Milk
  • 2 Tablespoons of Oatmeal
  • Lemon Juice

How To:

  1. Put a couple of tablespoons of oats in a cup of boiling water for 10-15 minutes until it becomes very soft and tender.
  2. Strain the water and then add some milk to the bowl of boiled oats.
  3. Use a spoon to mash the oats and mix it properly with the milk. Use some lemon juice from time to time to make a smooth consistent paste.
  4. Apply this paste on your face, neck and other areas of the body where you need some whitening.
  5. Leave the paste for about an hour to settle and dry.
  6. Use lukewarm water to rinse off the paste from your skin and then pat it dry with a towel.
  7. Repeat this process two to three times a week to improve the complexion of the skin.

The milk that you use for this remedy must be completely raw, it should not have been boiled even once before. Regular usage of this incredible homemade paste will treat your pigmented skin (if you have any) and bring the skin back to its former glory and color.

Oats and Apple Cider Vinegar for pH Balance

You Will Need:

  • 3 Tablespoons of Oats
  • 1 Teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 Teaspoon of Honey
  • Water

How To:

  1. Heat around half a cup of water until it starts boiling.
  2. Pour this boiling water in a bowl containing 3 tablespoons of oats.
  3. Also, add a teaspoon both of apple cider vinegar and honey into the bowl.
  4. Mix all the ingredients together until the oats have dissolved and reduced to a thick paste.
    massage this paste on your face and neck for 5-10 minutes then leave it to rest for about half an hour.
  5. Rinse off with lukewarm water and a dry towel.
  6. Repeat this remedy once or twice a week to get rid of that stubborn makeup.

Vinegar has light antiseptic properties which makes it very effective in maintaining the pH balance of our body. This remedy is very effective for properly removing the makeup from our skin as it can accumulate and clog the pores of the skin.

Oats and Fuller’s Earth for Soft Skin

You Will Need:

  • 2 Tablespoons of Oats
  • 2 Tablespoons of Fuller’s Earth
  • 1/2 Avocado
  • 1 Tablespoon of Milk

How To:

  1. Grind the oats to make a very fine powder.
  2. Combine the oats powder and fuller’s earth together in a small bowl.
  3. Add a tablespoon of milk to the mixture along with half of an avocado. You can mash the avocado to make this process simpler.
  4. Mix all the ingredients together to make a smooth paste.
  5. Gently apply this paste on your face and neck region, giving extra care to the neck region.
  6. Wash off the paste with some lukewarm water after 10-15 minutes.
  7. Use this remedy three to four times a week to make your skin soft and supple.

Fuller’s Earth, along with Avocado and Milk make the skin quite smooth and soft after a few regular applications. Not only that, this paste also gives your skin a natural glow and whitens it a shade.

Kiwi and Oats for Hydration

You Will Need:

  • 2 Tablespoons of Oatmeal Powder
  • 1 Kiwi
  • 1 Tablespoon of Honey
  • 1 Tablespoon of Curd

How To:

  1. Peel, cut and blend the kiwi to get a vitamin-rich paste.
  2. Add some oatmeal powder, honey, and curd to the paste and mix all of them together to make the paste thicker.
  3. Massage your face in circular motions while applying the paste. Try to avoid the eyes and nose.
  4. Wait for the paste to dry out completely.
  5. Wash off the dried kiwi paste using lukewarm water and then apply a mild moisturizer on the skin.
  6. This paste can be stored in a dark place and used three to four times a week.

A lot of commercial products use kiwi as their main ingredient. It is because kiwi contains a lot of water and is essential for hydrating the skin after a long day’s work.
