How to prepare cucumber green tea body spray at home

We all know that Green tea is great for repairing sun-damaged skin and today I’m going to share a recipe of homemade body spray that might be a blessing on hot days! Keep it in your make-up kitty for a quick touch up in the middle of the day, these facial mists can also be doubled up as makeup fixing sprays.


DIY Green tea body spray recipe

Ingredients required:

  • 1 bag of green tea
  • Half of a cucumber
  • 1 tablespoon aloe vera gel
  • Peppermint essential oil (optional)
  • Small spray bottle

How to prepare it:

  1. Brew a cup of green tea and keep it in the refrigerator.
  2. Peel and puree half of a cucumber.
  3. Strain and discard solids.
  4. Once the tea has cooled, add 1/4 cup to the spray bottle. (Note: if your spray bottle is bigger, then just add more tea.)
  5. Add 2 tablespoons cucumber juice, 1 tablespoon aloe vera gel and 1-2 drops of essential oil.
  6. Stir or shake to combine.
  7. Store in the refrigerator and it should last about a week.

DIY Green tea-aloe vera body spray recipe

Ingredients required:

  • Green tea bag: 1
  • Cucumber: half of it
  • Aloe vera gel: 1 tablespoon
  • Peppermint essential oil: a few drops (optional)

Procedure:

  1. Add green tea along with some water in a container.
  2. Bring it to boil.
  3. Run it through a sieve to get some freshly brewed green tea water.
  4. Keep it aside and let it cool down.
  5. After it cools down, store it in the refrigerator for a while.
  6. Now peel and grate the cucumber properly,
  7. Then strain out fresh cucumber juice out of it.
  8. Take an empty spray can and add all the ingredients in the specified quantities.
  9. Shake it well to make sure that everything gets mixed up properly.
  10. Use this body spray right after stepping out of the shower to feel fresh all day long.

Ingredients required:

  • Cool green tea: 1 cup
  • Aloe vera gel: 1 teaspoon
  • Sea salt: 1 tablespoon
  • Epsom salt: just a pinch
  • Tea tree essential oil: 2-3 drops

Procedure:

  1. Brew some fresh green tea.
  2. Let it cool down for a while.
  3. Then add it in a spray can along with all the other ingredients except aloe vera.
  4. Shake it well to make sure that everything gets dissolved properly.
  5. Then, add aloe vera gel in this solution and mix it well.
  6. Use it every day right after stepping out of a hot shower to smell fresh all day long.

Ingredients required:

  • Green tea bags: 1
  • Ice-cold water: 2 cups

Procedure:

  1. Add the green tea bags in cold water cups.
  2. Allow it to steep for some time.
  3. Once the water turns green, pour everything in an empty spray can.
  4. Spritz it on your face and body whenever your body is in need of intense hydration

Ingredients required: 

  • Carrot juice: 1 cup
  • Freshly brewed green tea water: 1 cup
  • Aloe vera gel: 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon essential oil: a few drops
  • Peppermint essential oil: a few drops

Procedure:

  1. At first mix 1 teaspoon of carrot juice with 1 teaspoon of green tea.
  2. Then add some aloe vera gel in it and give it a good stir to make sure that everything gets mixed up well.
  3. After that add the remaining amounts of carrot juice and green tea water in the mixture.
  4. Finally, add in a few drops of peppermint essential oil and lemon essential oil.
  5. Shake it well.
  6. Transfer the contents in an empty spray can.

  • Use it whenever you have to reapply a sunscreen lotion as it is difficult to slather on another layer of sunscreen lotion on top of makeup.

  2. Run it through a blender.
  3. Strain the solution in a clean container.
  4. Then, add all the ingredients in an empty spray can.
  5. Shake it well.
  6. Spritz on this aromatic facial mist after stepping out of the shower to lock the scent.
  7. Follow up with your moisturizer.
