If you have white teeth, you will naturally get confidence while smiling. Everyone desires white teeth but only few of them get it naturally these days. But don’t worry it is not very difficult to get it back. Many of us spend money of teeth whitener products but they only work for short time, also in long term your teeth will be very sensitive, so I will suggest everyone to keep some patience and go in natural way.
In first place let me explain you, why teeth get yellow colour
There are several factors that play a part, including genetics, what kind of food and drink you consume, and how well you practice oral hygiene. A tooth is made up of 4 tissues-enamel, which is the strong white covering that protects the tooth, dentin, which supports the enamel and is a hard yellow material that carries nerves, pulp, which is at the center of the tooth and contains blood and lymph vessels, and cementum, which covers the root of the tooth.
The enamel and dentin is what play the biggest role in color. Certain food and drinks will directly stain the enamel, yes, but over time the two biggest culprits are the nasty food and drink that actually break down the enamel, and weakening enamel as we age. As the enamel breaks down, it reveals the yellow dentin underneath.
Natural remedies to whiten teeth are given below:
Baking soda and Toothpaste
Make molds of your upper and lower teeth with two small pieces of aluminum foil. Mix 2 tbsp. baking soda with 2 tbsp. toothpaste. Put the mixture on the foil. Place the foil on your teeth, getting the mixture evenly over the teeth, then press the foil to fit the natural molding of your teeth. Leave on for 30 to 60 minutes. Clean off well with regular toothpaste.
Note – Don’t use this more than once a week as using this too often could damage the enamel on your teeth.
Baking soda and Hydrogen peroxide
Add ¼ cup hydrogen peroxide, 2 tbsp. baking soda, and ¼ cup strong mouthwash to one cup of water. Swish in your mouth for 1 full minute. Rinse well.
Make your own whitening toothpaste by combining 2 tbsp. baking soda, 2 tbsp. hydrogen peroxide, ½ tsp. of table salt and a dab of regular toothpaste. Brush for at least two minutes and clean off well with warm water. Brush again with regular toothpaste. You may use this safely once a week.
