How to remove blackheads with olive oil

By Glowpink Staff

First of all, let me tell you, blackheads are not caused by dirt, it is because of large pores.  Dead skin/sebum build-up reacts with oxygen turning the substance black. Voila-a blackhead! A whitehead occurs when the pores’ opening is smaller and the sebum plug does not react to the oxygen. It’s not possible to get rid of blackheads/whiteheads permanently but you can remove them very easily. Olive oil can be quite effective in treating blackheads as it helps soften and moisturize the skin while also supplying essential nutrients and tons of antioxidants which protect the skin from various issues and sources of harm. Combining it with other ingredients which provide exfoliating properties make for effective remedies to help loosen blackheads.
