Say No to these foods if you want gorgeous skin

By Glowpink Staff

Every girl wishes to have gorgeous glowing skin, but only a few of them get it naturally. If you are also trying to achieve gorgeous and healthy-looking skin but results are not as expected, you need to make a few changes in your diet so that you can achieve desired results. I have already suggested customized diet plans if you want to get back in shape, but in this article, I have mentioned some specific food items that you should stay away from.

Don’t consume dairy products

The hormonal imbalance will worsen skin problems like acne, aging, and pigmentation. Dairy products are full of hormones, so consuming them means adding more hormones to your body. We don’t realize that milk can be more harmful than we realize. Most dermatologists will tell you to skip the milk, cheese, ice cream, and yogurt as much as possible.

Cut down sugar consumption

Sugar causes glycation of proteins that are essential for the skin, making them inactive. Inactivation of these proteins leads to sagging and wrinkles. Do not switch to sugar-free to satisfy your sweet tooth. Artificial sweeteners have a host of issues themselves and won’t keep your insulin levels in check. For best results, avoiding sugar is the best option for naturally beautiful skin.

 Say “No” to artificial ingredients

Staying away from processed food is always advisable. They cause more damage to our system than we realize. Keep your diet simple and true to nature at least 80 percent of the time. Opt for home-cooked meals as often as possible and you will see a big difference in your skin.

 Bid adieu to white foods

Almost all yummy foods, be it pasta or namkeen, contain white flour and corn starch. These foods have no nutritional value and cause insulin and stress hormone levels to spike. High levels of stress hormones are the reason behind pimples, dullness and skin sensitivity. Before your hormones go crazy, avoid these white foods.

Store purchased fruit juice are a big NO

Fruit juice is a healthier alternative to your regular full-meal. Very often we tend to make the mistake of purchasing packaged fruit juices and consume them with the assumption that we are having something healthy. Most of us skip the vital step of going through the label that mentions about added sugar levels. As a result of it, it messes up with our blood sugar levels every now and then.

Stay away from packaged meats

Who wants to put in extra efforts and go to the market to get fresh meat? And you fall prey to the sellers who sell packed and processed meat in the market. They are loaded with preservatives and carcinogenic compounds, although they mention everything in the packaging labels, nobody really bothers to read through that and end up consuming slow poison unintentionally.

Aerated soft drinks damage your system

Soft drinks are pretty tempting and we usually end our meal with a soft drink while dining out. Consuming it once in a while won’t harm your body until and unless you turn it into a habit of daily consumption. Aerated soft drinks contain phosphoric acid and caffeine in high doses, and that may lead to cardiovascular diseases and increased blood pressure in the long run.

Margarine is even worse as compared to butter

A lot of us avoid butter or ghee in order to stay in shape and choose healthier options like margarine and vegetable oils. However, do you know that it is equally harmful to your body? Margarine is derived from vegetable oils and it is even worse in my opinion. It is made up of trans fats and you should consider giving up on this food item in order to keep healthy.

Say- No Cheese

Cheese is widely used all across the globe as a topping to add flavors to food items. It is also widely used as salad dressing so even if you think you are consuming only healthy foodstuff, you are sadly mistaken. Cheese is loaded with unhealthy fats, and if you want to keep healthy, then do not even think of consuming cheese. However, if you plan to follow a strict diet plan then you can consume some particular type of cheese in the recommended frequency.

Remember that you have to stick to these rules if you want to keep healthy and avoid health problems later on in life. Here are a few more tips and tricks that you must keep in mind if you want to stay in shape.

  • Exercise daily, it helps to keep your body fit, helps your body to get rid of free radicals and improves blood circulation in your body.
  • Hit the gym, get in touch with a personal trainer if you want to shed that stubborn fat from your body.
  • Be persistent and regular if you want to hit the gym, leaving halfway through is not the solution at all.
  • Keep your body hydrated, Make sure that you drink enough water every day.
  • Eat healthily, eat small meals, avoid stress eating.
  • Eat only when you are hungry.
  • Snack on a bowl of healthy fruits or green leafy vegetables to avoid excessive weight gain.
