Top exercise to reduce chin fat fast

Everyone desires to have a carved jawline but not all of us were lucky enough to be born with a well-defined jawline. Do not worry, you need not go under the knife to get a perfect jawline, you can easily get it at home by doing these simple exercises every day. In this article, I have listed down the most effective exercises that will give you a carved jawline in less than a month.

1. Tongue press

Sitting with your back straight and shoulders down, tilt your head back so that you are looking at the ceiling. Forcefully press your tongue flat to the roof of your mouth. Then, keeping your tongue against the roof of your mouth, lower your chin to your chest as far as possible without rounding your upper back. You should feel your chin and the front of your neck contract. Then relax your tongue and straighten your neck to return to the starting position. That’s one rep. Complete two sets of 20 reps each.

2. Pout and Tilt

From a sitting or standing position, stick out your lower lip as far as you can to form a pout (place a finger on your chin; the skin should feel wrinkly and puckered). Hold this contraction for one second. Then, with your lip still out, contract the muscles at the front of your neck to lower your chin to your chest as far as possible without rounding your upper back. Pause and hold for another second, then relax your lips and straighten your neck to return to the starting position. That’s one rep. Complete two sets of 20 reps each.

3. Kiss the Ceiling

Standing tall with your arms hanging at your sides, tilt your head back so that you are looking at the ceiling. Then try to kiss the ceiling by puckering your lips and extending them as far away from your face as possible. You should feel a tightening throughout your neck and chin. Hold for five seconds, then relax your lips and lower your chin to return to the starting position. That’s one rep. Complete two sets of 15 reps each.

4. Chin Rotations

In a seated or standing position, elongate your spine for a tall, straight back. Then, leading with your chin, slowly and gently rotate your head so it moves in a full circle from your shoulder to chest to shoulder to back. (If full circular rotations bother your neck, stick with semicircles moving from shoulder to shoulder.) Make sure to keep your shoulders down and back throughout the movement. That’s one rep. Complete 10. Repeat in the opposite direction.

5. Side Neck Stretch

Sitting on the floor, place one hand on the floor, fingers down, about one foot away from your hip. Do not lean or rest heavily on your fingertips. Wrap your opposite arm over the top of your head so that your palm rests on your opposite ear. Keeping your head in alignment with your neck, bend your head toward your shoulder, using your palm to gently press down your head to your shoulder. Then take your fingertips off the floor and place them on your upper arm, applying gentle pressure to press the shoulder down and away from your head. Hold this position for 10 seconds. Release your hands, return to the starting position and repeat on the opposite side. That’s one rep. Complete three.

6. Use a ball

Place a small ball, about 9-10 inches in circumference, underneath your chin. Now press it down with your chin, hold this position for a while and then release it. Repeat this exercise for at least 25 times a day.

7. Facial massage with wheat germ oil

Take a little bit of wheat germ oil in your palms and rub it gently to warm it up. Apply this oil on your jaw in an upward direction. Keep massaging it this way for about 5-10 minutes. To get the best results, repeat this facial massage every night before hitting the bed.

8. Make a fish face

Make a pout face in such a way that your cheekbones appear prominently, hold this position and try to smile. You can repeat this exercise throughout the day as many times as you want to see faster and more effective results.

9. Cheekbone upliftment

If you are looking for a simple exercise to get a chiseled jawline, then here it is. Trust me, it is just as easy as it sounds and you can easily achieve that contoured look in a few days if you do this exercise every day without fail for 5-10 times at least once in a day. Keep your middle finger and index finger on each cheekbone, now gently lift it upwards and open your mouth wide, your skin should feel a little stretched out. Hold on to this position for about 5 seconds, repeat it at least 10 times at a stretch to get the best results.

10. Chewing gum to your rescue

Take a chewing gum and chew it for about an hour with your molars. Throw it out after an hour, if you chew a gum every day, the shape of your face will change over time and you will get a chiseled jawline with almost no efforts from your end. It is highly effective for all the busy bees out there who can seldom spare time for themselves.

11. Exercise to the tune of alphabets

If you are busy all day long and do not have any specific dedicated time for yourself then this is the best option that you should go for. Open your mouth wide and pronounce “O” and “E”, one after the other. Stretch your lips as much as you can, repeat this at least 15 times in a day to get the best results.

12. Roar like a powerful lion

It is very obvious that in today’s modern world, we literally have no time to spare for ourself and hence rely on expensive surgical procedures to keep ourselves in shape. However, you can rely on this facial exercise to define your jawline. Open your mouth wide stick out your tongue to your lower jaw, and roll your eyes upward at the same time. It should look like you are trying to roar like a lion, hold this position for about 10 seconds and then release. Repeat this exercise a few more times in a day and soon you won’t have to contour your face or use a bronzer to get the appearance of a well-defined jawline.
