How to use aspirin to treat pimples

By Glowpink Staff

Aspirin is generally used as an analgesic (something that relieves pain without producing anesthesia or loss of consciousness) for minor aches and pains but only a few know that you can also use this for pimples. Aspirin can help you get rid of pimples without a fuss or the need to spend any money. However, we would strongly recommend a patch test to all the readers with sensitive skin beforehand, as some people may be allergic to aspirin.

DIY simple aspirin face pack recipe

It’s very simple to use this. All you need to do is make a face mask and within a few minutes, you will find the redness has gone and the size of your pimples reduced.

  1. Take 5 or 6 aspirin tablets and dissolve them in a few drops of water.
  2. If you are experiencing a particularly bad breakout or irritation, dissolve the tablets in unfiltered apple cider vinegar. This will help in soothing and toning your skin as well as clearing out your pores.
  3. After the aspirin tablets have dissolved, you should be able to pick up granule clumps in your fingers.
  4. For even more pimple-fighting action, add some honey to it and mix well.
  5. If you have combination skin, you can add egg whites. For dry skin, you can add olive oil.
  6. Once your aspirin mixture is done, gently rub it on your skin. Make sure that you do not apply it to the area around your eyes.
  7. Leave it on for 15 minutes.
  8. Once the time is up, gently wipe it off with a soft wet cloth and make sure that you avoid touching your eyes.
  9. If your skin feels dry, moisturize well with the product you use every day.
