All of us know uses of baking soda in cooking but only a few know its importance for the skin.  According to me, baking soda is the best skin softener. When used while bathing, baking soda leaves your skin soft and smooth looking. I have listed down the most effective face mask recipes with baking soda to help you achieve that flawless look naturally.

Baking soda works as a gentle exfoliating agent reduces redness caused by breakouts and boosts circulation. It also helps treat acne and pimples by removing excess oil and dead skin cells.

How to use baking soda for glowing skin:

DIY Baking soda-olive oil face pack recipe

Ingredients required:

  • Extra-virgin olive oil
  • Honey
  • Baking soda
  • A teaspoon
  • A bowl

Procedure:

  1. Put a teaspoon of extra-virgin olive oil in a bowl.
  2. Add one-half teaspoon of honey.
  3. Add one teaspoon of baking soda as well.
  4. Mix the ingredients well to form a thin paste.
  5. Apply it evenly all over your face and neck.
  6. Let it dry out completely on its own.
  7. Then splash some running tap water on your face to wash it off.
  8. Pat dry your face with a clean towel.

DIY Baking soda-manuka honey face pack recipe

Ingredients required:

  • Lemon juice: juice of half a lemon
  • Baking soda: 1 tablespoon
