Use Cinnamon to Get Clean and Clear Skin

Cinnamon is a spice which has several health benefits. The best way to use it for beauty benefits would be by consuming it internally. Cinnamon is helpful because:

  • Detoxifies the body and blood
  • Anti inflammatory in nature and hence prevents acne
  • Kills harmful bacteria
  • Prevents immunity
  • Improves blood circulation
  • Improves the mood
  • Relieves cramps
  • Contains manganese and calcium
  • Boosts energy
  • Helps in weight loss

Cinnamon and Lemon Tea

How to:

  1. Bring 1 cup of water to a boil and add 1 clove to it.
  2. Now turn off the heat.
  3. Add ½ teaspoon of cinnamon powder and 1 teaspoon of brown sugar to the hot water.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Add a classic flavored tea bag and let the tea brew for 5 minutes.
  6. Take out the teabag, strain the tea.
  7. Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and stir the tea.
  8. Have this tea once a day.

How this helps:

Lemon juice contains vitamin C which helps in improving the skin health.

Cinnamon and Honey Tea

How to:

  1. Boil 1 cup of water.
  2. Turn off the heat.
  3. Add ½ teaspoon of cinnamon powder.
  4. Add 1 tablespoon of honey.
  5. Add 6-7 crushed slices of ginger.
  6. Let the tea brew for 5 minutes.
  7. Strain the tea.
  8. Sip on this once a day.

How this helps:

Honey helps in improving the metabolism and adds nourishment to the cells from within. It helps in removing toxins from the blood which makes the skin glow.

Cinnamon and Mint Tea

How to:

  1. Bring 1 cup of water to a boil.
  2. Add ½ teaspoon of cardamom powder to it.
  3. Now turn off the heat.
  4. Add ½ teaspoon of cinnamon powder and 1 teaspoon of maple syrup to the hot water.
  5. Add 6-7 of fresh mint leaves.
  6. Mix well.
  7. Let the tea brew for 5 minutes.
  8. Strain the tea.
  9. Have this tea once a day.

Mint is anti inflammatory in nature and helps in rejuvenating the skin as well as the body.

Cinnamon and Basil Tea

How to:

  1. Add 3 slices of ginger to 1 cup of water and let it boil.
  2. Add 10-15 fresh basil leaves to it.
  3. Now turn off the heat.
  4. Add ½ teaspoon of cinnamon powder and 1 teaspoon of brown sugar to the hot water.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Add a classic flavored tea bag and let the tea brew for 5 minutes.
  7. Take out the teabag, strain the tea.
  8. Have this tea once a day.

How this helps:

Basil helps in detoxifying the blood and improving the texture of the skin. it also helps in preventing acne.

Cinnamon Face mask

How to:

  1. Take 1 tablespoon of fuller’s earth.
  2. Add 1 teaspoon of neem powder to it.
  3. Add ½ teaspoon of turmeric powder.
  4. Add 3 pinches of cinnamon powder.
  5. Add 4 teaspoons of rose water.
  6. Mix well.
  7. Apply on the face.
  8. Let it dry up completely.
  9. Rinse it off with plain water.
  10. Use this remedy once a week.

How this helps:

Fuller’s earth helps in absorbing all the excess oil. Turmeric powder and neem powder help in fighting acne. Cinnamon will also combat acne and improve the blood circulation to the face. This will add a glow to the face. Do not use more than the mentioned amount of cinnamon in the face pack or it can lead to intense itching and rashes.
