Daily Skin Care Routine For Dull And Damaged Skin!


If you want clear skin, then you must follow a regular skincare regime as per your skin type. At first, you need to identify your skin type and then choose a skincare regime in accordance with it. There are basically three types of skin oily, dry and combination skin type. In this article, I am listing down a few skincare regimes for every skin type. However, you need to bear in mind that something that suits my skin may not suit your skin and you must change your skincare regime according to the season. Also, remember to change your skincare products every 6 months or so to keep your skin healthy and blemish-free.

Skincare regime for oily skin:

DIY Cleanser recipe for oily skin

Ingredients required:

  • Cucumber: 1
  • Small tomato: 1

Procedure:

  1. Peel and cut the cucumber into 2 equal halves.
  2. Wash and cut the tomato into small pieces.
  3. Add everything in a blender.
  4. Blend it into a smooth paste.
  5. Just splash some plain water on your face before applying this facial cleanser.
  6. Then apply a thick layer of this face pack evenly all over your face and neck.
  7. Let it sit for around 15 minutes.
  8. Then wash it off with running tap water.
  9. Pat dry your face with a clean towel.
  10. You must follow up with the DIY toner and moisturizer to complete your skincare regime.

Frequency:

  • If you have oily skin, then you can replace your regular face wash with this natural face wash to get fresh, clear and soft skin.

DIY Peppermint toner recipe for oily skin

Ingredients required:

  • Lemon juice: 1 tablespoon
  • Peppermint tea bag: 1
  • Hot water: 1 cup

Procedure:

  1. Add lemon juice and peppermint tea bag in hot water and let it steep for a while.
  2. Allow this solution to cool down.
  3. Transfer the contents in an empty spray can.
  4. After cleansing your face with the natural facial cleanser, spritz on this herbal toner on your face.
  5. Let it dry up on its own and proceed towards the last step of your skincare regime by applying the DIY moisturizer listed down below.

DIY Moisturizer recipe for oily skin

Ingredients required:

  • Carnauba wax: 1 teaspoon
  • Rose essential oils: a few drops
  • Aloe vera gel: 1 teaspoon
  • Jojoba oil: a few drops

Procedure:

  1. Use the microwave to melt carnauba wax.
  2. Then add all the other ingredients in the specified quantities in the mixing bowl.
  3. Give it a good stir to ensure that all the ingredients get infused into each other.
  4. Transfer the contents in an airtight container.
  5. Apply a generous amount of this moisturizer all over your face and massage it in your skin.

  • Multani Mitti: 1 teaspoon
  • Rosewater: as much as required

  3. Allow it to cool down.
  4. Then, strain out the concoction in a separate container.
  5. Then pour it in an empty spray can.
  6. Add aloe vera gel in it.

  • Hibiscus tea: 2 tablespoons

Ingredients required:

  • Full-fat milk: 2 tablespoons
  • Almonds: 8-10

  3. Then add milk in it to make a smooth face pack with a medium consistency.

Ingredients required:

  • Dried orange peels: a handful
  • Curd: as much as required

Procedure:

  1. Put out the orange peels for drying in the sun.
  2. Once it gets dry and brittle grind it into a fine powdery paste with the help of a pestle and mortar.
  3. Take out the powder in a mixing bowl.
  4. Add enough curd in it to make your face pack.
  5. Cleanse your face before applying this face pack.
  6. Spread the pack evenly all over your face with your fingertips.
