  21. There are a lot of myth around peel off masks that persists but I have been using it from past 3-4 years and I have not faced any side effects. If you are worried try avoiding market bought products and instead opt for natural. This article is godsend considering it concentrates on all natural home remedies. I suggest pick one up and try it for yourself. I did and I am loving the results.

  22. @JadeJohnson You can try to add a little more coconut oil as to the mask as it will help mellow the effect of baking soda out. You can also moisturize your face and neck efficiently after doing so. If nothing changes then I suggest you try a different mask instead.

  23. I have a lot of acne, can peel off mask help remove that as well or is it just for dead skin and dirt?

  24. @BennettGrace It is important to understand that peel off mask does nothing for the deeper layers of skin it just cleanses it off impurities like dead skin, tan etc. While some peel off mask comes infused with special oils that do work for deeper layer, their primary cause is to cleanse. Hence, it will have no adverse effect on laser treated face. But in spite of that, it is suggest to let the laser treated skin breathe a little before trying anything new on it.

I wanted to mainly use the mask to tighten the skin. Please let me know what is the actual deal with it.

  28. @SiennaJones The cause of the breakage can be the products itself, They might not be a perfect fit for you hair. If the products are absolutely fine, it can also be due to the heat which tends to make it brittle. You can maybe try to curl your hair with low heat. You can also ask one of your friends to try the products to check if it is in the tool or the product.

  29. Using excess peel off mask can be harmful for the skin as it can strip off the natural moisture from it. However, when used properly, peel off mask will only help the skin,

  30. You can benefit the most by selecting a peel off mask that best suit your skin type. Otherwise it can leave drastic effects on the skin.

  31. It is advised to be used only once in 2 weeks as when done in access, it can strip the natural oil out and make the skin dry. I have a dry skin and I have tried and tested peel of masks once every week to once in two weeks. The latter benefited my skin the most. So, if you are someone with the same problem I suggest try what I did.

  32. I have a sensitive skin. Can you kindly suggest me a peel off mask that will suit this skin type? I have read many articles and now it has confused me a lot. Please reply.

  33. I am a chain smoker myself and I have used a lot of remedies to maintain the health of my skin. Did you do anything extra to make this work or just followed the instructions from the article? Kindly help.

  34. If you are opting for home made ones then you can always add moisturizing ingredients to it. If you are buying it from the market then I suggest opt for one that is specifically made for dry skin.

  35. The reason could be its ingredients. A lot of commercially made products have preservative which can cause an itchy feeling to the skin. It can also be due to a specific ingredient which might not be suiting your skin. If the rash is very strong I suggest consult a specialist and stop using that peel off mask instantly. .

  36. Just because the ingredients are milder does not mean it should be used a lot of times. Even if it is a natural home made peel off mask, it should be used not more than thrice in a week.

  37. The peel off masks is complete rejuvenating process. It starts from cleansing the skin, removing the impurities, working on pore cleansing to finally moisturizing the skin. The scub on the other hands requires a mask and a moisturizing process after usage. The scrub’s only work is to strip the gunk and dirt away from the skin, not nourish or moisturize it.

  38. I don’t think that is 100% the case now a days. While these two must be totally different and the peel off mask must be a rejuvenating experience, scrub these days also comes as a 2-1 formula where it scrubs as well as add moisture to the skin.

  39. I agree, with the changing market and customers requirement, I myself have spotted so many scrubs that also nourish and moisturize the skin whilst cleaning. But I am still not sure how it is different from the peel off mask.

  40. Both of them are poles apart. Scrub is used to exfoliate the skin wherein a peel off mask settles on the skin after its application. It firms the skin up and traps the goodness in. The peel-off also helps in removing the impurities, the skin tan, dead skin as well as the blackheads.

  41. That entirely depends on the area that you stay in. However, these are the few best peel off mask that you can try. If you can order, I suggest order from one of these after checking and verifying the ingredient section.
    1. Skin Rescue Purifying Mask with Red Clay
    2. GinZing Peel-Off Mask to Refine and Refresh
    3. I Dew Care Disco Kitten Mask
    4. Hyaluronic Marine Hydrating Modeling Mask
    5. Aquadefense Matcha Detox Mask
I hope they work for you.

  42. The peel off masks only intention is to peel the dead skin that sits on the first layer of your skin out. It will not penetrate in the layers to cure the damage so there is nothing to worry about.

  43. Such a well written article. I have recently fallen in love with the whole natural take on cosmetics and skin care and I would love to try some of these masks at home. Thank you so much, I shall leave a review on the comment section if they benefit my skin. Thank you

  44. I am a vegetarian but I want to try the egg mask out. My major concern is with the smell. Does it smell really bad when applied and is there a pungent smell. Also will it smell after washing it cause I have tried it once on my hair and it stayed for a good days.

  45. Hi Ruby, Sadly the smell of an egg is quite pungent. And especially if you are applying it on your face which is very close to your nose, you will be able to smell it really strong. However the struggle is only till it starts drying. It won’t smell after that and most certainly not after washing. I use it almost every alternate week and it has been a great ingredient to keep my skin firm and tight.

  46. Well, I would say if bearing something for a small amount of time gets you something brilliant, you should always go for it. And specially if it is a benefit to the skin. The smell might be a little pungent when applied but it will surely not stay after the wash. Give it a try.

  47. I am a core vegetarian and I don’t even eat food that grows under the roots cause it faces worms and insects but I was facing a lot of problem with my saggy skin and I had to do something about it. I don’t like using chemical products on my skin so I tried a lot of homemade peel of masks and masks. Nothing worked and finally doctor mentioned the egg white. I was extremely skeptical and I tried. I did feel like puking for the first few seconds but then as it started drying, it became okay. I think if I can bare it you surely can too.

  48. Can I use peel of masks if I have a lot of breakouts and pimples or will it irritate the skin even more.

  49. Not really. You just have to make sure that you apply a thick layer instead of a thin one. Thin layer can give a really hard time while pulling out. Also keep it as far away from hair a possible and it will tug on it and pain double times the waxing pain.

  50. It is very important to keep your skin hydrated and nourished at all times and moisturizer is the most important ingredient for it. Don’t skin it, even if you have a oily skin.

  51. Always moisturize. It protects the skin from going and feeling dry. Plus moisturizer also comes with a lot of benefits in it especially if it is a natural one. Don’t skin it instead use it after every wash as the final step.

  52. Be careful on the areas where you have hair as it can pull them off easily too. And make sure you maintain a thick layer.

  53. Make sure you make a thick layer and if in case it fails to peel off easy, use a little warm water to rub it off the skin. There might be some articles that suggest not to rub it, however I have a sensitive skin and I have tried and tested it,
