Having a skin that is spotless is a dream for all. However, most of the times, we end up dealing with spots, scars and even acne. Now, roaming with a face that is filled with these things can be a little embarrassing. While treating them using either medicine or creams etc is a long process. However, there is a way through which you can deal with this problem. While treating them will take longer, you can always conceal them using a concealer. And the best part, there are homemade, natural ways:

DIY Moisturizer Concealer For Spots

Things you will need:

Moisturiser 1 Tsp
Compact powder As required
Essential Oil A few drops

Procedure:

  1. Take a small container and add 1 Tsp worth moisturiser into it.
  2. Now, take a compact which is a little lighter than your complexion and scrape some out.
  3. Mix it really well and apply some on your face. See if the colour is what you want it to be.
  4. If the shade is darker, add more moisturiser. If it is light then add a little more compact to it. 

Tip: If you have an oily skin, we recommend using a light moisturizer and not somethng heavy. This might further increase the problem of acne for your skin.

Shea Butter, Argan Oil, Cocoa Powder Concealer

Things you will need:

Shea Butter 1 Tsp
Argan Oil 2 Tsp
Aloe Vera 1 tbsp
Witch Hazel 1 Tsp
Wax 1/2 Tsp
Kaolin Clay 1/2 Tsp
Zinc Oxide 2 tbsp
Cocoa Powder 1/2 Tsp

Procedure:

  1. Take 1 Tsp worth wax and 1 Tsp worth shea butter and melt it together.
  2. Now, beat 2 tbsp of aloe vera into a runny consistency.
  3. Mix all other ingredients really well and let it sit.
  4. Scoop some out and apply it onto the acne and dab some to conceal it.

The kaoline helps in sucking excess oil from the acne which is also the main reason why an acne pops up in the first place. Argan on the other hand helps with the breakouts by working on the inflammation.

Arrowroot, Cocoa And Jojoba Oil Concealer

Things you will need:

Arrowroot 1 tbsp
Cocoa Powder 1 Tsp
Cinnamon Powder 1 tbsp
Jojoba Oil 2 tbsp

Procedure:

  1. Take a container and add 2 tbsp worth jojoba oil into it.
  2. Now, add other powders to it and mix them well. Add a little more oil if the mix feels too dry.
  3. Let it sit and then scoop some out and dab it onto the acne.
  4. Dab the concealer and blend it in.

Tip: If you are comfortable with the powder and not the moisture based, don’t add the jojoba oil, instead just use some rubbing alcohol to set the powder and then use a brush to apply it onto your acne.

Oil Based Concealer

Things you will need:

Argan Oil 1 Tsp
Rosehip Oil A few drops
Beeswax 2 Tsp
Pigments As Required

Procedure:

  1. Take about 2 Tsp of beeswax and melt it.
  2. Transfer it into a container and mix 1 Tsp of argan oil and a few drops of rosehip oil to it.
  3. Mix both the ingredients really well.
  4. Now, add some readymade organic pigment into it and mix again.
  5. Let it cool down and scoop some out. Apply this onto the acne and see if it matches your complexion.
  6. If it does not, add a little more pigment to darken the mix.

Tips: Opt for organic products while choosing the pigments as well as the oil. This will help in healing the acne white covering it.

Rosehip, Sea Buckthorn And Argan Oil Concealer

Things you will need:

Rosehip Oil 1 tbsp
Sea buckthorn 1 tbsp
Argan Oil 1 tbsp
Cocoa Butter 1 Tsp
Pressed Powder 3 Tsp

Procedure:

  1. Take 1 Tsp worth cocoa butter and melt it.
  2. Transfer it into a small jar and mix all the other ingredients into it.
  3. Let it sit so it turns into a creamy consistency.
  4. Once done, scoop some out and dab it onto your acne. Blend it well.
  5. If the colour is too light, try adding a darker pressed powder or increase the quantity.

Tip: This mix is great when it comes to healing the skin and also boosting collagen. If you don’t want to use pressed powder, replace it with nutmeg or cocoa powder.

Coconut Oil, Corn Starch And Cocoa Powder Concealer

Things you will need:

Coconut oil 2 tbsp
Corn Starch 2 tbsp
Cocoa Powder 1 tbsp

Procedure:

  1. Take 2 tbsp of coconut oil and melt it. Transfer it into a container, preferably a glass one.
  2. Mix corn starch and cocoa powder to it and mix well before it sits.
  3. Scoop some out and apply it onto the acne.
  4. Dab it well to blend it in.

Tip: You can eliminate the coconut oil and instead just use the powders to conceal. Coconut oil however helps in killing the bacteria that cause the acne in the first place so we recommend mixing it to repair the damage.

Petroleum Jelly Concealer

Things you will need:

Vaseline 1 Tsp
Pressed Powder 2 Tsp

Procedure:

  1. Take a container and add 1 Tsp of vaseline into it.
  2. Now, add some pressed powder which is lighter than your complexion.
  3. Mix both of them well and transfer it into a jar.
  4. Apply a little of this onto your acne and use a sponge to blend it in.

Tip: Use crushed-up pressed powder instead of loose powder as it is easier to mix and transfer to other container.

Almond Oil, Honey And Cocoa Powder Concealer

Things you will need:

Almond Oil 2 tbsp
Honey 3-4 drops
Shea Butter 1 Tsp
Aloe Vera Gel 1 Tsp
Cocoa Powder 1/4th Tsp

Procedure:

  1. Take 1 Tsp of shea butter and melt it.
  2. Transfer it to a container and add other ingredients as well.
  3. Mix them well before it settles into a moisturizer-balmy texture.
  4. Scoop some of it out and apply it onto the acne. Dab it to blend well.

Honey contains antibacterial properties which helps in killing the bacteria that cause acne in the first place.
