Home Remedies To Get Fairer Skin Complexion Naturally
Having a fairer skin is a trend which has been quite prevalent for many years. Most of us spend a lot of our bucks and buy a lot of skin whitening creams, lotions etc. But then, some of the side effects due to such skin whitening products are quite scary. To avoid all such problems, here is a list of a few home remedies which can be followed easily at your home that could make your complexion fairer and bright.

#1. Fuller’s Earth Powder Paste
Things Required:
Fresh orange juice | 3 tbsp |
Fuller’s earth powder | 2 tbsp |
Directions For Use:
- Firstly, place a small bowl and add the given ingredients to it.
- Then start to mix the ingredients well using a spoon until the fuller’s earth powder gets completely dissolved in the orange juice.
- A fine and smooth paste will be formed once the ingredients had combined well together.
- Then start applying the obtained paste all over your face and skin regions.
- After that, allow it to get dry for about 10 to 15 minutes.
- Once the mixture becomes dry, you can start to rinse the area with warm or cold water.
- You can also apply a small amount of moisturizer after this to prevent the dryness in your skin.
Repetitions:
Once or twice in a week.
#2. Baking Soda Paste
Things Required:
Baking soda | 1 tbsp |
Distilled water | 1 tbsp |
Cotton ball | 1 |
Directions For Use:
- Take a small bowl and add about 1 tbsp of baking soda powder into it.
- Then add a little amount of distilled water into the baking soda powder kept in the bowl.
- Mix the ingredients well until the baking soda powder gets dissolved completely inside the water.
- Wait until it turns to a fine and smooth paste.
- Then take a cotton ball and dip it completely inside the baking soda mixture.
- After that, start applying the baking soda mix all over your skin.
- Then allow it to get dry for about 15 minutes.
- Once the skin region becomes dry, you can start washing the area with warm or cold water.
If you have a sensitive skin type, then it is better to follow this after doing a patch test with the mixture on your skin. If you do not face any side effects then you can use it on your skin. But, if there are any side effects then you can try some other home remedies.
Repetitions:
Once every day.
#3. Aloe Vera Gel
Things Required:
Aloe vera gel | 1 tbsp |
Directions For Use:
- For this, you can either use the aloe vera gel that can be extracted from the fresh aloe vera leaf or the packaged aloe vera gels which are available in the shops.
- You have to take about 1 tbsp of fresh aloe vera gel and apply it all over your face.
- Then you have to gently massage the area with the applied aloe vera gel for a few minutes.
- After that, leave the aloe vera gel to be there on your face for about one hour.
- Once the applied aloe vera gel starts to dry, you can start washing the area with warm or cold water.
Repetitions:
Once in a day.
#4. Potato Paste
Things Required:
Potato | 1 |
Raw honey | 1 tbsp |
Fresh lime juice | 1 tbsp |
Directions For Use:
- Take one potato and peel the outer skin layer completely.
- Then cut the potato into a few small slices.
- Then put the potato slices into a grinder or a mixer.
- Grind them until it turns to a fine and smooth paste.
- Then take a small cloth or you can also use a filter or a strainer.
- Put the mashed potato paste into the strainer and extract the potato juice separately leaving the residues behind.
- If you use a cloth, you have to squeeze the potato juice by pressing it.
- Then you have to add either honey or fresh lime juice into the potato juice based on your skin type.
- You have to add the fresh lime juice if you have oily skin type.
- And if you have a dry skin type, then you have to add raw honey into the potato juice.
- Stir the mixture well and start applying it all over your face.
- Then leave it to get dry for about 20 to 30 minutes.
- Now start to rinse your face with warm or cold water.
- Also, if there is any excess amount of potato juice then you can store it ina container and use it for about one week.
Repetitions:
Daily once.
#5. Mango Peels Paste
Things Required:
Mango peel | 1 |
Raw milk | 1 tbsp |
Directions For Use:
- Take one mango peel and put the peel inside a blender.
- Then add about 1 tbsp of raw milk into the blender along with the mango peel.
- Now start blending both the ingredients together until it turns to a fine and smooth paste.
- Then start applying the mango peel paste all over your face.
- Leave the paste to be there in your face for a few minutes.
- Then wait until the mango paste applied on your face starts to dry.
- Now you can start to use warm or cold water for washing your face.
Repetitions:
Every day once.
#6. Papaya Paste
Things Required:
Papaya | 1 |
Yogurt | 2 tbsp |
Directions For Use:
- Take a papaya and peel the outer skin layer from it.
- Use a knife and cut it into a few small pieces.
- Then put the papaya pieces into a grinder or a mixer and grind it until it turns to a fine and smooth paste.
- Now take about 3 tbsp of papaya paste into a small bowl.
- Then add the yogurt into the same bowl and start to mix them together.
- Now start to apply the papaya paste all over your face.
- Gently massage the area with the applied paste using your fingertips for about 2 minutes.
- Then allow it to get dry for about 30 minutes.
- After that, you can start to rinse the area with warm or cold water.
Repetitions:
Once every day.
