Homemade Peel-Off Mask For Glowing And Spotless Skin

1. Orange and Gelatin

Ingredients

  • Fresh Orange Juice – 2 Tablespoons
  • Unflavoured Gelatin Powder – 1 Tablespoon

Method

  1. In a small pot, pour the orange juice and add the gelatin powder to it.
  2. Place the pot over medium heat and continuously stir the mixture till the gelatin powder gets dissolved completely.
  3. Take the pot off the heat and let it cool.
  4. Wash the face well and then apply the mix on the face, except the eyes, eyebrows and mouth region.
  5. Leave it on for 30 minutes and then peel it off.
  6. Rinse the face and then pat dry.
  7. Repeat this process once or twice a week for the best results.

2. Activated Charcoal

Ingredients

  • Activated Charcoal – 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Unflavoured Gelatin Powder – 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Warm Water – 1 Tablespoon

Method

  1. In a small bowl, mix the activated charcoal and gelatin powder. Make sure that the ingredients are well incorporated.
  2. Stir in the warm water. Mix till a sticky paste-like consistency is achieved.
  3. Wash the face or do face-steaming for 5 minutes.
  4. Apply this mask on the face, carefully avoiding the eyes and mouth region.
  5. Leave it on for 25-30 minutes and then peel it off.
  6. Rinse the face and then pat dry.
  7. Repeat this process once a week or once in two weeks, depending on the sensitivity of the skin.

3. Aloe Vera and Green Tea

Ingredients

  • Green Tea Bag – 1
  • Aloe Vera Gel – 2 Tablespoons
  • Gelatin Powder – 3 Tablespoons
  • Boiling Water – 1/4 Cup

Method

  1. Place the tea bag in the boiling water.
  2. To this, add the aloe vera gel and gelatin powder, mix it all thoroughly.
  3. Once it is completely mixed, set it aside to cool down.
  4. Apply this mix on the face and once it is fully dried, peel it off.
  5. Follow this up by rinsing the face properly with cold water.
  6. Repeat this process twice a week.

4. Honey and Cinnamon

Ingredients

  • Honey – 1 Tablespoon
  • Cinnamon Powder – 1 Tablespoon
  • Cotton Strips – 4-5

Method

  1. In a bowl, mix the cinnamon powder and honey.
  2. Make sure a homogenous mixture is formed.
  3. On a washed face, apply this mix, carefully avoiding the mouth and eyes.
  4. Place the cotton strips on the mix, and press them gently.
  5. After 5 minutes, carefully remove the strip from the face.
  6. Rinse the face and pat dry, and then apply moisturiser.
  7. Repeat this process once in 2 weeks for the best results.

Tip

It is highly advisable to first do a patch test for any of the above remedies. This makes it clear whether the person faces allergic reactions to the ingredients of the methods and can, therefore, be cautious.
