Shea, Cocoa Butter And Coconut Oil

Things you will need:

 Shea Butter  1/2 Cup
 Cocoa Butter  1/2 Cup
 Coconut Oil  1/4th Cup
 Vitamin E  1 tbsp
 Lavender Essential Oil  30 drops

Procedure:

  1. Take 1/2 a cup of both shea butter as well as cocoa butter in a glass bowl and toss it in the microwave.
  2. Melt it for 30-45 seconds till it turns completely liquidy.
  3. Now, add the coconut oil to the butter and mix together.
  4. Place this mixture in the freezer for 10 minutes. Wait till it hardens but not entirely.
  5. Add in the remaining ingredients to it and whip the mixture using a hand mixer.
  6. Do this until it becomes fluffy in texture.
  7. Take some in your palms and use it as a moisturizer.

Repeat this whenever your skin feels dry.

The butter helps in moisutrizing and nourishing the skin. Coconut oil protects the skin by hydrating it as well as protecting it from bacterial infection. Vitamin E contains antioxidants which help in working on the aging signs of skin while the lavender oil relaxes the muscles while protecting skin from infection.

Shea Butter And Avocado Oil

Things you will need:

 Shea Butter  1/2 Cup
 Avocado Oil  2 tbsp
 Rosemary Oil  3-5 drops
 Melaleuca Oil  3-5 drops
 Lavender Essential Oil  10 drops

Procedure:

  1. Take shea butter and melt it by placing it in the microwave for 20-30 seconds.
  2. While it is melted, add in the other ingredients, mix well and let it sit.
  3. Don’t let solidify entirely, instead let it sit till it is in a semi-solid phase.
  4. Use a hand blender to blend it till it becomes fluffy and cream-like.
  5. Let it sit like that for a while, and then scoop some out in your palms and apply it onto your face as well as the entire body.
  6. Leave it as it is for the skin to absorb it.

Repeat this treatment every day twice.

Avocado oil helps in moisturizing the skin while hydrating it. Shea butter also moisturizes the skin and hydrates it while the essential oils help in keeping the pores and skin cleansed and free from bacteria.

Shea Butter, Coconut oil And Jojoba Oil

Things you will need:

 Shea Butter(unrefined)  1/2 Cup
 Coconut Oil(extra virgin)  1/4th Cup
 Jojoba Oil  1/4th Cup
 Lavender Oil  15 drops

Procedure:

  1. Take a vessel and fill it with water. Put the flame on.
  2. In a bowl, add 1/2 cup shea butter, 1/4th cup of jojoba oil and 1/4th cup coconut oil in it.
  3. Using the double boiler method, to melt and mix all the ingredients.
  4. Take it off the flame and place it in the freezer for 10 minutes.
  5. It should be in a semi-solid creamy state so that you can use a spoon to mix the ingredients.
  6. Take this mixture in a fresh bowl and add the lavender essential oil.
  7. Now using a hand mixer whip the ingredients for just 3-5 minutes.
  8. Scoop some out and apply it onto your entire body for the skin to absorb it.

Moisturize your skin twice or thrice a day using this body butter.

Shea butter contains high concentration of fatty acids and vitamins which help in softening the skin. It also contains anti-inflammatory properties which heals the skin. Coconut oil helps in reducing the inflammation of the skin. Jojoba with its high level of moisture helps in nourishing the skin.

Rosehip, Arrowroot And Kaolin Clay

Things you will need:

 Shea Butter  3 oz
 Coconut Oil  0.5 oz
 Rosehip Oil  0.25 oz
 Arrowroot Powder  0.1 oz
 Kaolin Clay  0.50 oz
 Frankincense Oil  2 ml
 Vitamin E Oil  3-5 drops

Procedure:

  1. Take a vessel and fill it with water. Bring it to a boil.
  2. In a glass vessel, add 0.5 oz of coconut oil and 3 oz of shea butter,  put it on the vessel containing boiling water to melt the oil-butter mix using the double boiler method.
  3. Add the arrowroot powder in it and whisk with the melted mix.
  4. Add the other ingredients and stir into the body butter mixture.
  5. Place it in the refrigerator and let it sit.
  6. Once the body butter starts to thicken, remove it from the refrigerator and mix till the clay stays evenly distributed.
  7. Scoop some out in your palms and apply it on your face as well as body.

Repeat this treatment twice in a week.

Frankincense oil is the most important ingredient in this mix. It contains astringent properties which help in keeping the skin away from bacteria that cause pimples, acne and other infections. It also helps in repairing the damage caused due to ageing signs from the deeper roots. Kaolin clay gently exfoliates the skin and helps remove the dead skin as well.

Mango, Almond Oil And Lemon Oil

Things you will need:

 Mango Butter  1 Cup
 Almond Oil  1/2 Cup
 Lemon Oil  30 drops

Procedure:

  1. Take a vessel and fill it with water. Bring it to a boil.
  2. In a glass bowl, add 1 cup of mango butter and 1/2 cup of almond oil. Heat it till the oils melt.
  3. Take it off the flame and toss in the refrigerator for it to solidify. Don’t let it sit and solidify in room temperature as it can crystalise.
  4. Whip it for 2 minutes and place it in the refrigerator for another 10 minutes.
  5.  Add in the essential oil and whip again.

Apply this body butter on your body as well as on your face as many times as your body feels dry.

Mango butter helps in working on stretch marks as well as spots. It can also be used by people with oily skin as it gets absorbed in the skin really quickly. Almond oil nourishes the skin and also reduces inflammation. The lemon oil makes the skin more elastic and also helps in preventing ageing signs.
