#1. Cleanser

Cleanser works as a mild helper to remove the first layer of dirt from the skin. It removes the pollution, the gunk and the dirt that sits on the top-most layer.

Strawberry Cleanser

Things you will need:

 Strawberries  4
 Peppermint Oil  1 drop

Procedure:

  1. Take some strawberries and deseed them.
  2. Take a mortar and pestle and crush the strawberries.
  3. Use cheesecloth and squeeze the strawberries through it.
  4. Transfer this into a bowl and add peppermint oil to it.
  5. Mix both the ingredients really well.
  6. Apply it onto your face and massage for 1 minute.
  7. Let the skin absorb it and rinse it off using cold water.

Use this cleanser twice every day for best results.

Strawberries contain antioxidants which help in repairing the skin damage and also working towards free radicals and ageing signs. Peppermint oil ensures that the pores are clean and free from all kinds of impurities.

#2. Exfoliator

Exfoliator helps in scrubbing the impurities off from the skin. It removes dead skin cells, tan and even helps in brightening the skin.

Orange Scrub For The Face

Things you will need:

 White Sugar  2 Cups
 Olive Oil  2-3 tbsp
 Pomegranate Arils  1/4th Cup
 Orange Zest  1

Procedure:

  1. Take a bowl, add sugar, olive oil and pomegranate arils in it.
  2. Take 1 orange and keeping the peel on, grate it.
  3. Mix all the ingredients really well.
  4. Dampen your face using bearable hot water, don’t wipe.
  5. Apply this exfoliator onto your face and gently exfoliate for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Rinse it off using lukewarm water and pat the skin dry.

Use this scrub 2-3 times in a week.

Sugar works like a natural exfoliator which helps in scrubbing the impurties away from the pores. Olive oil helps in moisturizing the skin while pomegranate with its nutrients helps in repairing skin damage.

#3. Steam

Steam helps in opening the pores and hydrating it from the roots. It also helps in soothing and relaxing the facial muscles which make it appear young.

Citrusy Steam

Things you will need:

 Orange + Lemon  1 Each
 Tea Bag  1
 Lemon essential oil  5 drops
 Water  3 Glass Full

Procedure:

  1. Take 1 orange and 1 lemon. Peel them and keep their peels aside.
  2. Boil 3 glasses of water and take it off the flame.
  3. Steep 1 tea bag in it and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the peels to it and add lemon essential oil to it as well.
  5. Stir well so that all the ingredients mix.
  6. Take 1 towel to cover your head and bend closer over the boiled water.
  7. Take the steam for 10 minutes.
  8. Once done, rinse the face and pat the skin dry.

Use steam whenever you are following a proper facial treatment.

The citric acid helps in soothing the skin whilst openig the pores. This helps in releasing any leftover dirt from the pores, out. Rinsing the face after the steam takes that dirt off, leaving behind a clear skin.

#4. Toner

Toner helps to even the skin tone and also balancing the pH level. Using a toner also helps in closing and shrinking the pores which ensure no dirt enters the pores.

Watermelon Toner

Things you will need:

 Watermelon  1 Bowl
 Water  2 Cups

Procedure:

  1. Take 1/4th watermelon and take its skin off.
  2. Cut them into small pieces and deseed them.
  3. Once done, toss it in the juicer.
  4. Strain it in a spray bottle and add 2 cups of water in it.
  5. Close the lid and shake well in order to mix all the ingredients really well.
  6. Spray this mixture onto your face and massage well using your fingertips.
  7. Do this till the skin absorbs the toner in.

Use the toner 2-3 times in a day for best results.

Watermelon is filled with water and it helps in hydrating the skin. Watermelon has plenty of antioxidants which repair the skin damage and also work towards free radicals and ageing signs.

#5. Mask

Mask helps in rejuvenating the skin and also working as a 360-degree repairment for the skin.

Banana Mask

Things you will need:

 Banana  1/2
 Honey  1/2 Tsp
 Lemon Juice  1 Tsp

Procedure:

  1. Take a bowl, add honey and lemon juice in it.
  2. Take 1/2 a banana, peel it and mash it with the mix.
  3. Apply this paste onto your skin and massage for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Leave it on for 20 minutes and rinse it off using lukewarm water.
  5. Pat the skin dry and finish by using some moisturizer in the end.

Use this mask 2-3 times in a week for best results.

Banana is rich in potassium which helps in improving the skin and also repairing all kinds of damage. Honey contains antioxidants which help in repairing the ageing signs as well as fighting the free radicals. Lemon juice contains bleaching properties which lightens the skin and also cleanses the pores.

#6. Moisturizer

Moisturizer helps in nourishing the skin and also hydrating it. When applied on the skin, these moisturizers having humectant properties attract moisture into the skin. This also helps in making the skin appear moist and young.

Mango Butter, Grape Seed And Essential Oil Moisturizer

Things you will need:

 Mango Butter  1 Cup
 Grape Seed Oil  1/2 Cup
 Calendula Flower  1 tbsp
 Yarrow Flower  1 tbsp
 Plantain Leaves  1 tbsp
 Chamomile Oil  10 drops
 Rose Oil  10 drops

Procedure:

  1. In a jar, add 1/2 cup of grapeseed oil and add calendula flower, yarrow flower, plantain leaves.
  2. Keep it under the sunlight for 3-5 weeks.
  3. Strain it into a clean jar and store it in a cool and dry place.
  4. Now, take 1 cup of mango butter and melt it.
  5. Use a bowl and pour the mango butter in it.
  6. Before it solidifies, add the herb-infused oil and essential oil in it.
  7. As it starts to solidify, use a hand blender and whip the mix to make a cloudy mix.
  8. Scoop some of it onto your hand and apply it onto your face as well as the neck.
  9. Don’t rinse, just let the skin absorb it.

Use this moisturizer twice every day for best results.

The butter and the oils help in moisturizing and nourishing the skin. The essential oil helps in absorbing excess oil from the skin whilst cleansing the pores. Using this moisturizer every day will help in keeping your skin nourished and also protect its pores from clogging up.
