Keratin Treatment At Salons

What is Keratin?

The keratin is a protective protein which is responsible for the formation of your hair, nails, and skin. This protein consists of eight essential amino acids in it. This is the most essential element which is responsible for strengthening your hair.  The protein forms a protective layer around your hair. This helps in preventing your hair from any physical, chemical and environmental damages.

What Is Keratin Treatment?

Keratin treatment[1] is also termed as Brazillian hair straightening or Brazillian keratin treatment. This is a semi-permanent way of straightening your hair. This is done with the help of a Keratin solution. Most of the Keratin solutions contain at least a little amount of formaldehyde in it. This solution, when applied to your hair will start to penetrate deeply. It will reach the cuticles on your scalp and changes the structure of your hair. Proper usage of this solution will offer you effective results.

This hair straightening will last for a minimum of 2 to 3 months. This duration will entirely depend upon your hair type. It also depends on how you maintain your hair after the treatment. This treatment is mostly done at salons. The step by step process of the Keratin treatment at salons are as follows:

Step By Step Process

You will need Quantity
Wide-toothed comb 1
Clarifying Shampoo depends upon your hair length
Keratin Hair Treatment Solution depends upon your hair length
Sulfate-free shampoo depends upon your hair length
Sulfate-free conditioner depends upon your hair length
Straightening Iron 1
Hair Brush 1

Purified water As per the requirement
Blow dryer 1

Step 1 – Consultation With The Stylist

Before starting on with the Keratin Treatment consult a hair stylist about the type of keratin treatment you want. There are two Keratin Treatments available. They are:

  1. With Formaldehyde
  2. Without Formaldehyde

If you want the hair straightening to last for 4 to 5 week, then you can prefer for the without formaldehyde one. Rather, if you want it to last for 2 to 3 months, then opt for the with formaldehyde method. Explain clearly about the hair problems you have so far to the stylist. Also, ask for the amount of formaldehyde that is going to be used for the treatment. Follow all the instructions based on your hairstylist’s advice. Get an appointment fixed on the dates based on your preference and you are already on the way to straight hairs!

Step 2 – Clarifying Shampoo

On the fixed date, the salon professional will first wash your hair to make it clean. They will use a clarifying shampoo for washing your hair. This will remove all the dirt and residues present in your hair. If your hair is not clean, then it might affect the results of Keratin treatment. So, they should be very clean before starting off with their smoothening. This step is very essential to do proper straightening treatment.

Step 3 – Blow Dry

After washing with the shampoo, your hair[2] will be blow-dried. The excess water in your hair will be removed. Then your hair will be divided into 4 to 5 sections. This sectioning will depend on the thickness of your hair.

Step 4 – Keratin Treatment Solution

Now the salon professional will start to apply the keratin solution on your hair. It will be applied on all the sections of your hair. Then it will be allowed to dry for about 30 to 60 minutes. This duration will be decided by your hairstylist. The time will be based upon the type of your hair and the hair length.

Step 5 – Blow Dry

When the specified duration is over, a blow dryer will be used on your hair. The solution your hair will be blow-dried for a few minutes. The blow dry can be done with medium heat settings.

Step 6 – Straightening Iron

After blow-drying your hair, a straightening iron will be heated to 450-degree Celsius. Then your hair with the solution will be straightened with the help of straightening iron. This will help the keratin solution to penetrate inside your hair shaft[3]. All the chemicals in the solution will work together in altering the structure of your hair. Your hair will become very soft and smooth. It will become straight with a frizz-free appearance. Meanwhile, the keratin in your hair will strengthen and condition your hair.

Hair straightening

Step 7 – Hair Wash

After straightening your hair, you should not wash your hair for the next 48 hours. This duration will help the keratin to penetrate deep. This will help the straightening in your hair to last for a longer duration. After 48 hours, you can start washing your hair. Prefer using the shampoos and conditioners recommended by your hairstylist. Do not use normal shampoos as it might spoil the effects of the keratin treatment.

Do not wait for a duration of more than 48 hours. This might make your hair to get drier. Use the recommended shampoo to wash your hair followed by the suggested hair conditioner[4]. Then blow dry your hair to remove the excess water. Follow the advice given by your hairstylist in maintaining your hair. This will help you in making the straightening to last for a longer duration.

‣‣Pre-Treatment Care

There are certain things to be followed before undergoing this treatment. These are:

  • Dermatologist: You should always consult a dermatologist before getting this treatment done. A dermatologist[5] can suggest you whether to take this treatment or not. Speak about all the skin & hair problems and allergic infections you have faced so far. They will suggest you certain precautionary measures to avoid the keratin treatment side effects. If you have serious allergy problems, then it is better to avoid this treatment.
  • Hairstylist: After consulting your dermatologist, you must see a hairstylist. The hairstylist should have proper experience in doing this treatment. Because any mistakes committed during the treatment can affect your hair and health. Do share all the hair problems you have so far with them. They will suggest the best treatment for you based on your hair conditions, texture and type.
  • Ask for the products they are going to use in the treatment: Do proper research on the products before taking up this. Ask for the level of formaldehyde in the product. Ensure that it must not contain too concentrated levels of formaldehyde in it.
  • You can also do hair colouring before taking up this treatment: This can help the straightening effects to last longer with more vibrancy. You can do permanent, semi-permanent or highlights before the process.
  • Check for the weather forecast and season: Your hair should not get wet for three days after the treatment. So keep a track of the weather reports to avoid the effects of the treatment getting affected due to rains etc.
  • Pregnant and nursing women should strictly avoid taking up this treatment: These chemical treatments can affect the health of both the woman and her child to a greater level during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

‣‣Post-Treatment Care

  • Do not tie your hair for three days using any rubber bands or elastic bands. Leave your hair to be free for 3 days. Using any bands will leave a mark on your hair. So avoid using it.
  • Strictly avoid making your hair to come in contact with water for three days. Avoid going out for three days after the treatment.
  • When you do a work-out or yoga prefer blow drying your hair after you finish. You can iron it once or twice after using the blow dryer.
  • Do wash your hair after the specified time. Do not wait for a longer duration than that. This will not have any benefits but can make your hair dry and frizzy.
  • Use sulfate-free shampoo[6] and conditioner for washing your hair. Sulfate will strip off all the keratin used in the treatment. This will make your hair lose the effects of the treatment quickly.
  • Do not use normal shampoos as it might make the treatment lifeless. Prefer using the products recommended by your hairstylist.
  • Avoid going to swimming pools. If you can’t avoid, use a hair cap while swimming. Chlorine can make your hair wavy and curly.
  • Avoid hair colouring or any other chemical-based hair treatments for 1 week after the keratin treatment.
  • It is better to trim your hair after the treatment. This can be more effective and help get a smooth texture.

Keratin Treatment Side Effects

Keratin serves as a protective layer for hair, both internally and externally. This can protect the epithelial cells[7] from getting damaged. These cells are responsible for the regeneration and the growth of hair follicles. So adding excessive keratin artificially can be even more advantageous. It can make your hair to get nourished well with adequate nutrients’ supply. This can also make your hair to become stronger and healthier.

But, keratin cannot penetrate on its own after its application on the hair. Some external processes are required to do this. Blow drying and ironing your hair make this happen. Though keratin treatment helps in making your hair look shiny and smooth, it has a few risk factors associated with it. It might be very easy to avail this hair smoothening treatment. But once the treatment is done, you will face a few side effects that might cause certain serious issues. A few of the side effects can affect the stylist also. Some of the most common side effects of keratin treatment are as follows:

‣‣Risk of Cancer

Formaldehyde is the key ingredient which is responsible for changing the structure of your hair. It is an organic compound that can cause cancer. The chemical bonds in our hair maintain the hair structure. Formaldehyde dissolves these chemical bonds and restructures them. Thus, your hair becomes straight after the treatment is done. All the keratin treatment products will contain formaldehyde in it. The level of formaldehyde might differ from one product to the other one.

After applying the keratin solution to your hair will be subjected to ironing. When the straightening iron[8] is used on the keratin coated hair, it can produce formaldehyde fumes. These fumes are dangerous to your health. This can increase the risk of cancer in your body. The hairstylists and the customers who get exposed to this frequently are often affected by cancer.

Recent studies have found that smoothening can lead to increased exposure to these fumes. This exposure level will be too high when compared to the normal recommended levels. Some of the keratin treatment products have also been banned due to the high formaldehyde content in it. Now formaldehyde is being used in manufacturing by using alternate terms. Some of the alternate terms of formaldehyde are as follows:

  • Methanal
  • Formalin
  • Formol (10% of formaldehyde mixed with water)
  • Methyl aldehyde
  • Methylene glycol

So undergoing the keratin treatment too often can result in cancer. So, one must inquire about the level of formaldehyde content in the products to be used before you proceed with this treatment.

‣‣Lung Irritations

Formaldehyde[9] is known to be a great irritant for lungs. Even inhaling a little amount of formaldehyde can create serious problems. Both the hair stylist and the customers can get affected by this. Inhaling the fumes can cause breathing problems, nose irritation, cough and sore throat. Repeated inhalation can cause severe respiratory problems and pulmonary problems. It can cause internal injuries in your lungs resulting in pulmonary edema. Short-Term exposure to fumes can cause asthma-related problems. Breathing higher concentrated levels of formaldehyde can also lead to lung cancer.

‣‣Other Health Issues

The normal recommended level of formaldehyde exposure is 0.75 parts per million (ppm) of air. Anything higher than this level is considered to be dangerous. In keratin treatment, there are two steps in which it gets emitted. One is during blow drying and the other is during ironing your hair. When blow drying is done the amount of formaldehyde ranges from 0.08 – 3.47 parts per million (ppm) of air. And when straightening is done, the emission ranges from 0.08 – 1.05 parts per million (ppm).

Long-term exposure can lead to severe nervous system damage. It can cause severe irritations, burning or redness in your eyes. This can also cause sneeze, dermatitis and some allergic infections. The hairstylist who does this treatment regularly also gets affected. They experience chronic sinus and blisters in their nose. It might also lead to heart palpitations.

‣‣Hair Fall

In the keratin treatment, your hair will be exposed to a higher temperature of heat. So it can easily lead to breakage of hair. Other than this, the heat will also affect the hair follicles[10] in your scalp, and this leads to hair fall. People who have thin hair should avoid taking this hair treatment. This will make your hair to become even thinner.

During the straightening process, some mistakes also might lead to hair fall. If the equipment is mishandled, it leads to improper straightening which might result in hair fall[11]. The various durations specified for different steps should be strictly followed for this treatment. Selecting the proper treatment, salon and hair stylist are the key factors to reduce this risk factor.

‣‣Hair Damage

The high temperature in this treatment will lead to the breakage of hair easily. This will lead to uneven hair.  Further hair damages will be caused if your hair is not maintained properly. As your hair is exposed to too much heat, it will lead to dryness in the scalp regions. This might make your hair frizzy and dry. So, apply some lotions or conditioners regularly to prevent the scalp dryness.

Not using the recommended shampoos and conditioners can also lead to hair damage. Your hairstylist will suggest the products based on the texture of your hair. When you use normal shampoos and conditioners, it might not suit your hair. This can rather affect the entire texture of your hair, and they will start to look more dull and weak.

‣‣Split Ends

When your hair is heated, the entire moisture content in your hair gets lost and this might result in split ends. Though the hairs look silky and smooth, split ends will spoil the look of your hair. These damages can travel up to your hair shaft very easily. Split ends do not cause any effects on hair growth. Your hair will remain to grow irrespective of these split ends. But your hair will become very brittle and frizzy. Most of the times, it is preferred to cut the split ends at the early stage. This can help you in preventing your hair from other damages.

‣‣Hair Color Change

Due to the keratin treatment, the normal color of your hair gets changed. Your hair will start to look slight yellowish or golden brown in color. This is due to the heating process involved in straightening. After some days, your hair might look too light due to dryness. You can use a toner or a conditioner to avoid this issue. The extent of the restoration and retaining of the normal color after the treatment depends on how well you maintain your hair.

‣‣Allergic Reactions

Though this treatment offers effective results, it also causes some allergic reactions. The chemical agents present in the keratin treatment solutions can cause this. The formaldehyde and the other aldehydes present in this solution can cause skin infections like eczema[12] or dermatitis. It might lead to irritation, itching and burning of the skin. This can also result in rashes and cracks in your skin regions.

If you have sensitive skin, you will be more prone to these allergic reactions. It is always better to consult a dermatologist before taking up this treatment.

‣‣Release Toxins Post Treatment

It is not that formaldehyde can cause health issues only during the treatment. But, it can also cause side effects even after the treatment is done. It can affect you after you have left the salon or after two to three day of treatment also. The formaldehyde will be there in your hair even after the treatment. These chemicals can get released any time from your hair. When they get released they can affect your skin and cause skin infections.

Step 6 – Heating The Straightening Iron

  1. Now take the straightening iron and set the temperature at 450 degrees.
  2. It is better if you pre-heat the rod and keep it ready for use accordingly.

  7. Take smaller sections and move the straightening rod from top till the ends of your hair.
  8. Repeat the process for 5 to 7 times on each smaller sections of your hair.
  9. Once this is done, your hair will be very hot for a few seconds. So, you should be careful.
  10. Slowly remove the hair clips one by one.
  11. Repeat the same process for each of the sections of your hair.
  12. You can make the straightened hair to fall on the remaining portion of your hair. This can prevent your face from coming into contact with the hot straightened hair.

Step 8 – Avoid Water

  • Do not wash your hair for 48 hours after the straightening is done. This will help the keratin to set in your hair nicely. The keratin will settle deeply in your cuticle[15] and will make the straightening to last longer.
  • Do not tie your hair using a rubber band or an elastic band.
  • Leave your hair free for 48 hours and avoid your hair to come in contact with water.

Step 9 – Hair Wash

  1. You can wash your hair with shampoo after the treatment is done for the specified duration. Prefer using sulfate free shampoos and conditioners for washing your hair. Do not keep them applied on the hair beyond the specified time. This will lead to the dryness in your hair.
  2. Rinse your hair with a sulfate free shampoo followed by a sulfate-free conditioner. Using hair products containing sulfate will strip the keratin off from your hair. So, your hair will lose the straightening and will look wavy.
  3. Then blot your hair with a clean towel to remove the excess water.

‣‣Pre-Treatment Care

  • Keep the room’s windows opened while blow drying your hair. Natural air can help you in making your hair dry sooner.
  • Make sure that the straightening iron is set on proper temperature before starting to iron your hair.
  • While ironing your hair, you might feel some pain in hand due to the weight of the iron, as it takes a lot of time. You can take as many breaks you want while straightening your hair. Do not do anything that disturbs your hair while taking breaks. You should not even plug earphones as it might affect the process.
  • Once ironed, avoid putting the hair on your skin.

  1. This a great and terrifically informative post on keratin treatment for hair. This topic is not well known or understood so it is really good that you are getting the information out an helping people out make the right and informed decision. I salute your hard work, please keep it up.

  2. Yes, i agree with you 100%. I had heard about keratin treatment, i think some of my friends had mentioned but I did not know anything about it, like what is it, how it works, what are the side effects and stuff like that. Glad to have found this post, learned a lot from it. Thanks glowpink!

  3. What a awesome article on keratin treatments! it is so informative and detailed. a lot of hard work clearly went into this, and I want you to know that it is appreciated.

  4. thanks a lot for this post!! It has so much I definitely will be coming back to it to learn everything there is to learn

  5. yes, keratin treatment is good for your hair growth. It smoothes out the hair and makes them shiny and great looking. All that because keratin is the protein from which your hairs and nails etc are made. so it is really useful.

  6. You should opt for keratin treatments which do not have any formaldehyde if you want to avoid damage to your hair and health. Such treatments wont be as effective or long lasting as the formaldehyde one but they will be much safer, which is what you should want. Formaldehyde is a carcinogen and hence can cause cancer in your body so avoid it at all costs.

  7. Yes, as the post states, you of course can. Just be aware that it won’t be as effective as getting it a salon. You will need to research a bit and get the appropriate and right products for you. It also won’t last nearly as long s a salon treatment. Hope this helped.

  8. I love it!! this a superb post for learning all you need to learn about keratin treatments! I see that they are rising in popularity as more and more women are chasing that perfect beauty dream. I would like to say to all women, that don’t be so hard on yourself, all kinds of hair look beautiful in their natural form, you do not have to fight it. But everybody has got to do what they got to do so I respect that. I would say just be mindful of your health and do not sacrifice it for some apparent cosmetic advantage. Have a good day y’all.

  9. your inputs and thoughts are appreciated and have given me something to think about. 🙂 cheers

  10. Hey team glowpink. Great job on the article. It is so informative and comprehensive that it is amazing! keep doing more good work like this.

  11. Hi, nice article. i have heard about chemical relaxers which also help make the hair straighter and frizz free. Are these two the same things or different? or am I just confused?? Thanks in advance for any help

  12. Chemical relaxer and keratin treatment are two totally different things. keratin treatment is fully temporary and will wash out after a few months whereas straightening chemical relaxers make your hair straight permanently. These two treatments may produce similar results but the method is different. Chemical relaxers, as the name suggests, uses different, and a bunch of chemicals to straighten hair by practically restructuring the hair bonds, that also makes them weaker to produce straightness. Contrarily, in keratin treatment your hair is injected with proteins which makes them smoother and straighter. but the don side is of course that it washes out after a few months.

  13. Yes, you can have keratin treatment performed safely even if you have dyed hair. That won’t affect it in any way.

  14. What shampoo should I use after my keratin treatment?? and how often should I wash my hair?? waiting for a reply

  15. You should look for sulfate-free shampoos. Organic shampoos are the best and I am a big advocate of them. Also, always use a conditioner after you wash and shampoo your hair.

  16. To answer your other question: you should shampoo your hair only once or twice a week once you have your keratin treatment done.

  17. hey guys, excellent post on keratin treatments. I have been looking into them recently and came across this post for which i am glad.

  18. My sister, who is pregnant (about 3 months in), is thinking about getting a keratin treatment. Is it safe for her and her pregnancy?

  19. Hey Miriam, i would not suggest that. Keratin treatments are not recommended for women who are pregnanat.

  20. Hey, I have heard about another treatment which straightens hair and eliminated frizz. It is called brazilian blowout I think. What are the differences between keratin treatment and Brazilian blowout or are they the same things with different names??

  21. Both of these treatment are hair-smoothing treatments that temporarily coat the outer layer of the hair to smooth and straighten them out, remove any frizz, improve shine and decrease time it takes to blow dry. They start to differ depending on which brand your stylist uses.

  22. Brazilian blowout will leave the natural texture of your hair alone and just remove the frizz. That means if you have wavy hair with frizz, it will calm down the frizz but your hair will stay wavy instead of becoming straight. The keratin treatment is heavier on the hair, so it takes away more volume and frizz, and calms the curl more to give your straighter hair. Hope this helped.

  23. Hey guys, terrific post. This tells a lot about keratin treatment, the side effects it can have and the ways in which we can prevent and treat them. Really useful and important info for women looking to go through with this or who have gone through with this and facing some problems. I am thinking about getting a keratin treatment and I am looking to learn everything I can about it and this page is a really rich source of such knowledge. So, great job and keep on producing more excellent content like this. you have my support and readership.

  24. I have recently had keratin treatment on my hair. I am quite pleased and satisfied with the results.

  25. I would not recommend that. Some shampoos can take away the keratin compounds from the hair. Hence, you should always go for shampoos which are especially made for people who had keratin treatment done. You should ask your hairdresser for advice on which one to go for. All the best!

  26. If I dye me hair and then do a keratin treatment right after in the same day, do I wash my hair with clarifying shampoo twice after dyeing my hair? Will it take the color out?

  27. You can definitely use the clarifying shampoo and it will not take the color out. But you have to wash it just once and not twice.

  28. Thanks. Can I dye my hair after I have had Keratin treatment done? Or how long do I have to wait after a keratin treatment to dye my hair?? any more help you can provide is greatly appreciated by me.

  29. Hi, I am Jennifer and I’m 27 years old. I have naturally curly and frizzy hair and I am looking to have this treatment done. After the keratin treatment, will I still have to blow dry my hair to straighten it or not?

  30. It will all depend upon how curly your hair is. I personally know people who had very curly hair – 3B or 3C hair. After the treatment now their hair is 1A or 1B. so I would say it depends on what strength level of treatment you take and how well your hair reacts to styling.

  31. Great post on keratin treatments and home remedies of its side effects. I love that you have included a section on how to perform this treatment yourself at your own home. I was looking for that information which was comprehensive, detailed, and accurate. I found what I needed here. All your hard work is apparent here and know that it is highly useful and greatly appreciated by many women like me. Good luck for your future, I hope you people get to the top.

  32. Hi, nice post on keratin treatments for hair. I was wondering If I could still do beach waves to my hair after I have had the keratin treatment? or will that not be possible after the treatment. pls reply soon. thanks.

  33. Yes, you can have beach waves in your hair even after keratin treatment. You can style you hair as you normally do even after keratin treatment. However, you should know that if you style your hair excessively, that will make dents in your hair and make your hair more wavy.

  34. Is it alright to tie my hair after I have had keratin treatment. Great article btw, keep it up!

  35. Tying up your hair soon after keratin treatment is not recommended. That is when the keratin is still malleable, so if you tie up your hair in a ponytail or use a hair clip, it can make dents in your hair. If you want to tie your hair up, you should wait until at least three days after the keratin treatment. And even then I suggest you use a soft hair tie and for smaller periods of time to keep your hair in their best shape. Hope I was of some help and all the best with your hair and keratin treatment.

  36. Thank you for the detailed reply, I am grateful that you took the time out to help me. Have a good day.

  37. Hi team glowpink, this is a really great article on keratin treatments for hair. Thank you for sharing this with us netizens. Cheers!

  38. I have curly hair. They have been a source of annoyance and frustration for me basically all my life. After I grew up and became an adult (arguable) I decided to try out keratin treatment for straightening my hair. I tried it and results were lovely, but since I am not rich person I knew I could not keep doing that. That is until I knew about keratin express blowout. It does not straighten hair so know that first off. It just smooths down the frizz in curly hair which is awesome for me and decreases the time it takes to dry curly hair significantly, which is also awesome and made my life so much easier. It is significantly cheaper than t he normal keratin treatment so look into it if you are also annoyed by frizz and the hassles of maintaining curly hair.

  39. I have also tried this keratin express blowout and it really is a great option for women who just want to be done with the frizz and the little annoyances which emerge from curly hair and collect to make curly hair a big annoyance. My local hairstylist offers it for just about 80 bucks whereas a normal keratin treatment easily takes up to 300 bucks in my area. So it is a fantastic option for me and I do have it done regularly and really pleased with the results it gives me. Look into it.

  40. Thanks a lot for making me aware of this. i also suffer (lol) with curly hair and have not tried keratin treatment because it is too expensive for me., but this looks cheap enough that I can try it out.

  41. What a great post this is, so comprehensive and detailed and all encompassing. Great work. Keep supplying us with great content like this and people will keep coming back for more. Thanks again and all the best!

  42. Hey guys, brilliant article on keratin treatments. I wanted to know how long does a keratin treatment lasts? I now it is not a permanent thing and you have to keep redoing it if you want to keep the benefits of it. So i just want to know how long will my hair be silky smooth and straight until I have to have it done again?? Thanks for any help any of you can provide.

  43. Keratin treatment will last anywhere between like 6 weeks and and up to a couple of months. You can take care of your hair after treatment as given in this article too, to keep them looking great for longer, maybe up to 3 months. It will also depend upon the quality of the treatment, the state of your hair and just a bunch of external factors like the environment you live in and how much care you put into your hair and stuff, the products you use etc.

  44. Hello people, I am interested in knowing about the first hand experiences of ladies who have gone through with this keratin treatment. Does it really work and how well? Was the treatment worth it in your opinion or not?? Any genuine inputs are greatly appreciated. I am also looking to get keratin treatment done, just want to consult some experienced people. I am 24 years old with curly (2A) type hair. Thank your for listening.

  45. In my experience, keratin treatments last about 3-5 months. This is from personal experience and from experiences of friends and family.

  46. I have found keratin treatments to be well worth the investment. They make my hair silky straight and smooth, just like I want them to be. Also, it does not damage the hair but, quite conversely, improves the health and state of your hair significantly. What can I say, I just love the way my hair looks and frames my face after the treatment. And the effect does go away gradually, but I am fully set for like a month or two, where my hair looks absolutely fabulous. So, obviously, it will be a different experience for everybody but I personally do love it. I would say, if you have the funds and the desire, certainly go for it, there are not many side effects there. Just make sure you have a formaldehyde free treatment, that’s all.

  47. Yes, unfortunately, it is true, but only for keratin treatments which still use formaldehyde. So avoid that at all costs.

  48. This article is very true and I appreciate the time it took to do the research. I currently have the treatment and I must admit it’s taking time to adjust. However I like it ..to go from curly to straight is a mind set with learning how to manage your hair. Styling is different so be prepared to learn how to adjust….BUT I LOVE 💕 IT…..
