Here are 10 steps of Korean skincare routine which can give you excellent looking skin:

#1. Oil/Cream Cleanser

Coconut Oil, Olive And Tea Tree Oils

Things you will need:

 Coconut oil  70%
 Olive Oil  25%
 Tea Tree Oil  5%

Procedure:

  1. Take a glass dropper bottle and add all these ingredients in it in their respective proportionate quantities.
  2. Close the lid and shake well in order to mix them well.
  3. Take some of the drops into your palms, rub it between your palms to heat it and apply it onto your face.
  4. Massage for 60 seconds and wipe it off using a cotton pad.

Repeat this treatment everyday before cleansing your face.

Coconut oil makes it extremely easy for the makeup to detach from the face and wiping it off the skin removes all the impurities as well. Olive oil nourishes the skin while cleansing it and tea tree oil kills the bacteria that cause skin damage.

#2. Foaming Cleanser

Oil Cleanser

Things you will need:

 Castile Soap(unscented)  1/2 Cup
 Water  1 & 3/4th Cup
 Honey  2-3 tbsp
 Almond oil  8 Tsp
 Chamomile Flowers  1.5 tbsp
 Melaleuca Oil  12 drops
 Lavender Oil  12 drops
 Rosehip Oil  8 drops

Procedure:

  1. Use a double boiler method and infuse both almond oil and chamomile flowers in a suitable bowl for at least 30 minutes, keeping it simmering and also giving it a stir occasionally.
  2. Strain the almond oil and transfer it into a pump bottle.
  3. Add in castile soap and shake the bottle.
  4. Now, add all the other ingredients, close the lid and shake well in order to mix all the ingredients.
  5. Pump some of this mixture onto your palms and apply it on your face.
  6. Massage well for 30 seconds and rinse it off using cold water.

Repeat this treatment twice in a day.

The oils helps in nourishing the face whilst cleansing the skin. It also keeps the pores clear and also kills the bacteria that lead to formation of acne.

#3. Exfoliator

Coffee Scrub

Things you will need:

 Coffee Grounds  1/4th Cup
 Coconut Oil  1/4th Cup
 Sugar  1/8th Cup
 Frankincense Oil  10 drops

Procedure:

  1. Take a bowl and add in all the ingredients in it.
  2. Mix them well and set aside.
  3. Wet your face and apply this onto it.
  4. Scrub in a gentle circular motion for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Rinse it off using cold water and pat the skin dry.

Repeat this 2-3 times in a week.

Coffee is excellent when it comes to both nourishing and cleansing the pores as well as the surface of the skin. Sugar, like coffee, is also natural exfoliator while the oils help in cleansing the skin as well as the pores.

#4. Toner

Rice Toner For Skin

Things you will need:

 Rice  1/2 cup
 Water  1 Cup

Procedure:

  1. Take rice and rinse it using water to remove impurities.
  2. Take a fresh bowl and put the rice soaked in water. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Sieve the rice and store the water in a bottle.
  4. Now, boil the rice in a pot, until the water looks thick, starchy white and then store it in a bottle.
  5. Take some of this rice-water onto a cotton ball and apply it on your skin. Let your skin absorb the goodness.

Repeat this treatment every day after cleansing your face.

Rice water helps in tightening the skin, smoothening it and also in shrinking the pores. It also imparts a brightening effect to it.

#5. Essence

Rose Essence

Things you will need:

 Rose Petals  Handful
 Spring Water  1 Bowl
 Brandy  2 tbsp

Procedure:

  1. Take a bowl and fill it with water.
  2. Add 2 tbsp worth brandy to it and mix well.
  3. Place the rose petals like a sheet on top of the water.
  4. Place the bowl in direct sunlight where no shadows will cover or cross over it for 3-4 hours.
  5. Remove the petals and strain the water in a spray bottle.
  6. Spray this concoction onto your face and let your skin absorb it.

Do this right before applying makeup on your skin.

The essence also known as mother essence helps in increasing cell turnover and also helps the skin by making the goodness easier to get absorbed. The actives target the problematic areas and repair them for good.

#6. Serum

Jojoba And Lavender Oil-Serum

Things you will need:

 Jojoba Oil  2 oz
 Lavender Oil  20 drops

  1. Take a dropper bottle and add in both the ingredients in it.
  2. Shake well in order to mix both the ingredients really well.

 Water  1/2 Cup
 Tea Tree Oil  3-4 drops
 Disposable Sheet Mask  1

Procedure:

  1. Take a bowl and add 1/2 cup cool water in it.
  2. Add 3-4 drops of tea tree oil to it and stir it well.
  3. Now, take a disposable sheet mask and soak it in the solution for 15 minutes.
  4. Slowly pick up the sheet mask and place it over your face.
  5. Leave it on for 15 minutes and once done, wipe your face with a dry cloth.

Use this treatment daily for best results.

Tea tree oil helps in cleansing the pores and killing the bacteria that causes acne. Apart from repairing these skin problems, using this sheet mask will also help in hydrating the skin.

#8. Eye Cream

Coffee, Cocoa And Rosehip Balm

Things you will need:

 Ground Coffee  2 tbsp
 Rosehip Oil  2 tbsp
 Cocoa Butter  2 tbsp
 Beeswax  2 tbsp

Procedure:

  1. Using a double boiler method, melt cocoa butter and beeswax in a bowl.
  2. Add in the other ingredients to it and mix them well.
  3. Take this off the heat and pour it in a container.
  4. Let it solidify and use it every night before sleeping.

Repeat this every night.

This cream helps in gently solving problems like wrinkles and dark circles. Using this regularly helps in hydrating the undereyes and making them look lively.

#9. Moisturizer

Aloe Vera And Argan Oil

Things you will need:

 Aloe Vera Gel  1/3rd Cup
 Argan oil  1/2 tbsp
 Tea Tree Oil  7 drops
 Rose Essential Oil  7 drops

Procedure:

  1. Take a container and mix all the ingredients really well using a spoon.
  2. Scoop some of this in your palms and apply it onto your skin.

Aloe vera helps in nourishing the skin while protecting the pores. Tea tree helps in killing the bacteria that cause various skin problems.

#10. Sunscreen

Almond, Coconut And Raspberry Oils

Things you will need:

 Almond Oil  1/2 Cup
 Coconut oil  1/4th Cup
 Beeswax  1/4th Cup
 Zinc Oxide  2 tbsp
 Raspberry Oil  1 Tsp
 Carrot Seed Oil  1 Tsp
 Shea butter  2 tbsp

Procedure:

  1. Take a bowl and add all the ingredients in it, except the zinc oxide.
  2. Use a vessel and fill it with a little water.
  3. Keep the vessel on the stove and turn the flame on, and then place the bowl over it.
  4. Let the ingredients melt, then add zinc oxide to it and stir well.
  5. Pour it into a container and store in a cool and dark place.

Use this everyday before heading out of the house.

Using this homemade sunscreen will help in keeping the skin well-protected from suntan as well other skin damage.
