Things to Eat

Healthy Fats

While people tend to run away from fats, in the Mediterranean diet, it is important that you pick out the healthy ones and consume them. Olive oil contains fats which nourish the skin and lowers cholesterol level. You can also consume nuts which come packed with monounsaturated fats that hydrate the skin and promotes its health.

Veggies

Vegetables play a vital part when it comes to the Mediterranean diet. Ensure that you consume Tomatoes, broccoli, kale, spinach, onions, cauliflower, carrots, Brussels sprouts and cucumbers. They are all highly fibrous and help in improving the quality of the skin.

Proteins

Things like eggs and greens which are loaded with proteins make the skin appear healthy and young. The egg is also known to work on premature ageing signs like wrinkles and fine lines.
