What is the generic name (s)?

Autrin contain contains four following substituents

  • Vitamin B12 (15 micrograms)
  • Ferrous Fumarate 350 mg
  • Folic Acid 2 mg
  • Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) 150 mg

How does it work ?

Vitamin B12 which is also know as cynacobalamine.The B12 helps in production of succinyl CoA which inturn needed to extract energy from the proteins and fats and this is also useful for production haemoglobin in red blood cells which carry oxygen.
Cyanocobalamine is man made vit b12 helps in metabolism treatment of lower number of RBC i.e., treatment of anemia ,nerve damage also used in poor nutrietion conitions,preganacy and old age.

Ferrous Fumarate is a compound of Iron and is an essential nutrient in the body. This is an essential body mineral. It is used in prevention and treatment of diseases caused by iron deficiency and production of blood cells.

Folic Acid is a type of Vitamin B which helps in the formation of DNA,RNA,amino acids and in the production of red blood cells. It also lowers the risk of heart problems. It plays a major role in avoiding birth abnormalities and helps in proper development and functioning of the brain.

Vitamin C plays a vital role in collagen formation and in the repairing of tissue in the body.
