What is the generic name (s)?

The generic component of Dolo 650 is Paracetamol[1] (also known as Acetaminophen[2]). It is present in the strength of 650 mg in each tablet. It has both analgesic[3] and antipyretic[4] properties.

How does it work ?

Dolo 650 has Paracetamol as the main working generic component. Hence, its working can be understood from the fact that it is a member of two families of medicines, namely, analgesics (painkillers) and antipyretics (fever reducers). This medicine gets absorbed fully speedily when administered orally.The analgesic effect of Paracetamol is to increase the threshold of pain in the body, thereby decreasing and relieving  the pain.
