What is the generic name (s)?
The generic name for Zerodol is Aceclofenac , which belongs to the NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) family of medicines. It is present in the strength of 100 mg per tablet.
How does it work ?
Zerodol works by hindering the action of COX or cyclo-oxygenase enzymes which enhance the synthesis of prostaglandins in the body at the location of damage or injury.These prostaglandins are responsible for the swelling, inflammation and pain caused. Hence, the reduced quantity of prostaglandins result into relief from swelling, inflammation and pain.
