What is the generic name (s)?

Zevit capsule is composed of a number of vitamins and minerals. Their names and compositions in each capsule are being listed below :

How does it work ?

Vitamin B complex works towards the restoration of normalcy in various metabolic functions. Different types of vitamin act in their specific case, like the water soluble vitamins help in the metabolism of Carbohydrates, alcohol and branched chain amino acids. Folic acid works for nucleoprotein synthesis and normal erythropoiesis.

Vitamin C plays a vital role in collagen formation and in the repairing of tissue in the body.   3. Drink plenty of liquid
  4. If you have sinus congestion
  5. Avoid Smoking
  6. Take precaution if you are Pregnant
  7. Take precaution if you are Breast feeding
  8. If the patient is an elderly person
  9. Patient has a history of kidney problems
  10. Patient has a history of liver problems
  11. If you are allergic to any of the component of this capsule
  12. if you are allergic to elemental Zinc and calcium (Oral)

Yes, it is safe to take in the recommended dosage if one is pregnant & there are no reports of any problems occurring. Though no studies have been conducted on humans and animals to find out any problems which might occur on having this capsule during pregnancy.

Folic acid, Vitamin E and Vitamin C can be beneficial to pregnant women but Elemental Zinc and Calcium may harm the fetus. Please consult with a gynecologist  before starting this capsule.
