Walnut Hair Dye

Things you will need:

 Walnut Hulls  2 tbsp
 Water  3 cups
 Tea Ball  1

Procedure:

  1. Take 3 cups of water and bring it to boil. Transfer it to a mug.
  2. Take a couple of walnut hulls, crush them and steep this into the water.
  3. Let it sit until the colours transfer to the water.
  4. Shampoo your hair normally and rinse using this concoction 10-15 times.

Walnut is a great shade when you want to add a touch a brown to your hair without making it too bright.

Beetroot, Honey And Coconut Oil Dye

Things you will need:

 Beetroot  15 oz
 Honey  1/4th Cup
 Coconut Oil  1/2 to 1 Cup

Procedure:

  1. Take all the ingredients and mix them well.
  2. Use either a wide-tooth comb and part hair while you apply this paste onto your roots as well as on your hair.
  3. Cover your hair with a shower cap and
  4. Leave it on for 1-4 hours for the colour to stick to the hair.
  5. Rinse it off, shampoo and condition.

The color of the beet helps in adding the perfect red that you want.

Coffee As Hair Dye

Things you will need:

 Coffee  1 Cup
 Ground Coffee  2 tbsp
 Leave-in conditioner  2 cups

Procedure:

  1. Take 1 cup of water and make a strong espresso coffee with it.
  2. Add in the other ingredients and mix them well.
  3. Apply this onto your hair as well as roots and leave it on for 1 hour.
  4. Rinse it off using lukewarm water and shampoo like usual.

Use this multiple times to darken the shades of brown.

If you are looking for a colour which is close to the brunettes, coffee can be your best option to achieve it.

Natural Hair Colour

Things you will need:

 Tea Bags  3-5 bags
 Water  2 Cups
 Dried Sage  2 Tsp
  1. Take 2 cups of water and bring it to a boil.
  2. Open up 3-5 tea bags and dried sage into the water. Bring it to a boil one more time.
  3. As it gets cool down, apply it onto your hair as well as the roots and leave on for at least one hour.
  4. If you want a darker shade, leave it overnight.
  5. Rinse using warm water.

Tea is the another most natural way of adding color to the hair along with coffee.

Lemon For Blond Hair

Things you will need:

 Lemon Juice  5 tbsp
 Water  2 Cups

  1. Take lemon cut it in half and extract its juice. You will probably need 2-3 lemons for it.

  5. You can also add it to spray bottle and spray it every day in the morning and the sun rays will do the job for you.

Lemon is great when it comes to bleaching the hair. When you bring it in contact with suns rays the acids react and this leads to the hair turning blond.

Yoghurt And Henna Mix

Things you will need:

 Yoghurt  6 tbsp
 Henna  4 tbsp

Procedure:

  1. Take both the ingredients and mix them well.
  2. Apply this paste onto your hair and cover it with a shower cap.
  3. If the mix is drippy, add in extra henna to make it thick.
  4. Leave it on for 1 hour or 45 minutes and then rinse it off using water.
  5. Dry it a little, apply some oil and leave it overnight.
  6. Rinse it off using shampoo and condition to finish.

If you are looking to add a goldenish-orange tinge to your hair, which looks as a copper-like shade, then this mix will be perfect.

Saffron For Blonde Hair

Things you will need:

 Saffron  1 tbsp
 Water  1 Cup

Procedure:

  1. Take about 1 cup of water and heat it to bring it to a boil.
  2. Add the saffron to it and mix well.
  3. Rinse your hair using water and then use this mixture to rinse your hair again.
  4. Catch the mixture falling from your head in a container and rinse the hair with it again.
  5. Use shampoo and conditioner to rinse the solution off immediately.

The saffron will help in adding an orangy colour for someone with blonde hair.

Honey and Yoghurt

Things you will need:

 Honey  5 tbsp
 Yoghurt  1 tbsp

  1. Take both the ingredients and mix them well.
  2. Apply this onto your roots as well as your hair.
  3. Leave it on for 2-3 hours and rinse it off using warm water.

You will have to repeat this for 3-4 days before you see changes.

Honey is a natural bleaching agent, so if you are trying to lighten your hair a couple of shades down, we recommend using this method multiple times.

Sage, Rosemary And Olive Oil For Brown

Things you will need:

 Sage leaves  3 Cups
 Rosemary tea  3 cups
 Olive Oil  1 Cup
 Glycerine  1 Tsp

Procedure:

  1. Take two vessels and fill 3 cups of water in each.
  2. Add sage leaves to one and rosemary to the other. Heat them to make them boil and then turn the flame off.
  3. Once they get warm, mix both of them together and add the rest of the ingredients to it. Mix well.
  4. Apply this mixture onto your hair as well as roots. Cover it with a cling foil.
  5. Heat a towel in a microwave and wrap it around the cling foil.
  6. Leave it on for 1 hour and rinse normally.

Use this multiple times till you see the changes. Don’t use extremely hot water as it can spoil the colour.

Sage and rosemary both can add a brown colour to the hair and also cover up gray hair(if you have any) to brown. The oil will work as binder for the ingredients and also nourish the hair.
