  1. Awesome post! Keep them coming guys. i love articles like this which tells me about new and unknown things which I never would have thought of by myself. Great work with this one.

  2. I am a student in school and we had to do a science project in which we had to find out which things other than nail polish remover can remove nail polish. I used some alcohol to remove the nail polish and it worked fantastically and I was able to remove the nail polish within a few minutes. So, alcohol does work very effectively in getting rid of the nail polish and so I would suggest that one for anyone looking to remove nail polish but does not have a nail polish remover lying around. Moreover, you will also avoid acetone so there is that.

  3. thanks for sharing your personal experiences with us. they are invaluable and add a lot to the community, so thank you for taking the time to do that.

  4. Once, i dropped a bottle of nail polish and it broke spilling nail polish everywhere on the floow. That was such a pain to clean, I shudder even thinking about it. What should we do if that happens for the future or any other women who have faced this issue.

  5. You should take a bunch of sugar and spread it all over the nail polish quickly while it is still wet. If you do that quickly, you will be able to scrape the nail polish off without any residue or anything.

  6. Thanks a lot!! I am sure many women will find this really useful at some point in there lives, although I hope they don’t have to face it

  7. Can I use any kind of alcohol to remove the nail polish? or some specific one is better or something?

  8. Yes, you can use any type of alcohol including alcoholic liquor and any other alcohol based product would work just fine too. Although, you should try to avoid liquors which also have sugar in them or drinks which have low amount of alcohol in them for example beer and wine. These won’t work as they would not be strong enough and moreover will leave a sticky residue too

  9. I am on a vacation and I forgot to bring my nail polish remover. yeah, I could buy one but come one! I am on vacation, I am not going to go shopping for stuff like that. 14. How can I get nail varnish off from my nails??? need some help here guys pls anyone who can assist is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  15. It is pretty simple method which I follow. I works 100% and will help get your nail varnish off and you do not need any fancy ingredient or anything. First of all just wet the surface of your nails. Then apply toothpaste to your nails. Make sure it is the white normal one, not any gels or any other fancy toothpaste. Let the paste sit on your nails for a bit and then wipe it off along with the nail varnish. Try it out it is simple and works. all the best

  16. Nice article!! full of home remedies to get your nail polish off easily from your nails. I use a couple of these methods already whenever an emergency crops up and they work quite well, good enough to get you out of a pinch. Cheers guys. Keep up the terrific job.

  17. Hey guys, great write up. I wanted to know which is the quickest natural home remedy method to remove nail polish from the nails. Thanks in advance.

  18. Using store bought nail polish removers are definitely the fastest method to remove nail polish. But among the home remedies, I would say a cotton ball and some alcohol is fairly easy and quick method to remove nail polish. Try it out and decide for yourself.

  19. Hey girls, I have a trick for you which will help you always remove your nail polish easily and you won’t need any sort of remover other than some warm water. It is sort of a preventive measure which you have to do before you paint your nails with nail polish. It is pretty simple and easy still. You will need to have an empty nail polish bottle or any small container really, some water, and some white glue which is meant for elementary school children. You have to make a solution of glue and water, to do that fill up the container one third with glue and then fill the else with water and shake the bottle well to form a solution. It should be pretty thin now and you can spread it over your nails easily. This is why empty nail polish bottle works best as you can use the nail brush to apply the glue and water mixture. Now all you have to do is, apply the glue mixture onto your nails before applying the nail polish. Paint your nails after the glue solution on your nails has fully dried off. Now, when you have to remove the nail polish, just soak your fingers in warm water and then it will be so easy to remove the polish. you can scrape it off without any harm to your nails. You can use your nails, or any other small blunt object like cuticle pusher to peel off the nail polish easily. All y’all will find this method amazing if you try it out, i guarantee it, so try it out and see how it works and feels. All the best.

  20. That sounds like a great trick. But I will have to try it out and see how well it works first before I can pass any sort of verdict on it.

  21. I also do this! My friend put me on it like a year ago and now I always use this method. But it works especially well for glitter nail polish and that is what is use it for.

  22. Great article guys. This is really useful for many women. There is one method missing though, which I use regularly and I will swear by it. Make a solution of baking soda, lemons and water in a bowl and then soak your nails in it. Your nail polish will come off really easily by itself after a while. I also apply a moisturizer or some lotion to my hands afterwards because lemon can dry out my hands quite a bit, so you can also do that.

  23. Wow, this is fantastic. I tried this one and it actually works fantastically. I would recommend this method to anyone. It is so easy and works so effectively. Love it. Thank you for sharing this with us peeps.

  24. This is an awesome remedy. Two thumbs up!! definitely do try it out at least once.

  25. Hey people, be mindful of using nail polish removers which contain acetone in them. They may be quick and effective in fulfilling their task but they can really harm your nails and worsen their quality a lot with regular usage over time. Either opt for a gentle nail polish remover which is free from acetone or try out a few home remedies from the dozens given in this post. This will allow you to keep your nails healthy and strong while also styling them whenever in whatever way you see fit. I wish good health to all. Bye.

  26. Yes, you are absolutely correct. Acetone is really harmful to your nails and you should never use acetone directly to remove your nail polish. Thanks to glowpink you have tons of resources and home remedies which you can use to get rid of your old nail polish.

  27. I accidentally spilled my scarlet nail polish in one of my tees. I really like that tee. Is there any way to remove the nail polish stains without using a nail polish remover?? Help me out guys please.

  28. Firstly, dab acetone on the stained areas. After that, use a cotton ball or an acetone saturated paper towel (you can find these in drugstores) to blot the reverse side of the cloth. Doing this will transfer the stain from the clothe to the paper towel. Just repeat these steps until you can remove all the stains. I hope you find this useful. All the best.

  29. It always feels really great and fulfilling when you can maintain your nails and keep them beautiful and however you want them to look. This feels especially great if you can do that while sitting in your own home and using natural ingredients already spread around in your home. This article is a great resource towards that goal and dream. It is really informative and extensive and basically contains everything you are going to need to know to remove your nail polish even if you do not have a nail polish remover handy. Love you glowpink and keep on doing what you are doing and helping women since … I don’t even know when. Lots of love xoxo

  30. Hey guys, good day to all. you can use lemon slices to remove your nail polish. I don’t know how much more simple it can even get after that. It is really easy and does work. to do this, you will just need a bowl, some warm soapy water and a slice of a lemon. Okay, first of all, soak your nails in the warm soapy water for about 5 minutes. Then use the lemon slice on your nails. rub it over the nails to soften the nail polish to remove it easily. That is it! It is really simple and easy, isn’t it. But I would suggest using a moisturizer or something on your nails cause lemon can dry out your skin and nails. All the best ladies. I know you can do it.
