Tomato Treatment

Things you will need:

 Tomato Juice  2 tbsp
 Cotton Ball  1

Procedure:

  1. Take a tomato, peel it and chop it into pieces.
  2. Toss them in a blender and puree it.
  3. Take it in a bowl, dip cotton in it and apply it onto your entire face.
  4. Leave it on for 25 minutes and rinse it off using lukewarm water.
  5. Pat the skin dry.

Repeat this treatment twice in a week to see visible changes on your skin.

Tomato contains vitamin C which helps in balancing the excess oil from the skin and also directly attacking the acne. It helps in reducing the blemishes and due to its acids, it also helps in balancing the skin out.

Apple Treatment

Things you will need:

 Apple  1
 Bowl  1

Procedure:

  1. Take an apple and slice it in half.
  2. Take both the halves and grate them into fine pieces, transfer in a bowl.
  3. Use your fingers to scoop the grated apples and apply it onto your entire face.
  4. Leave it on for 15 minutes and rinse it off using cold water.
  5. Pat the skin dry.

Repeat this treatment every day, once, to see visible difference.

Apples contain antioxidants, anti-aging, astringent and soothing properties, which all help in balancing the skin and removing the excess oiliness of the skin. It also contains malic acid which absorbs all the excess oil and leave the skin looking naturally radiant.

Cornflour For Oily Skin

Things you will need:

 Cornflour  3 tbsp

Procedure:

  1. Take a clean bowl and add 3 tbsp of cornflour in it.
  2. Heat some water and when in its lukewarm stage, add it to the cornflour to make a paste.
  3. Apply this onto your face and leave it for 30 minutes.
  4. Rinse it off using cold water and pat the skin dry.
  5. If your skin feels extremely dry, finish it with a non-oily moisturizer.

Repeat this remedy twice a day to see fast changes on your skin.

Cornflour has absorbent properties which when applied onto the skin helps in sucking the excess oil as well as other impurities. This is also a perfect ingredient which you can use when you have acne as it does not irritate the skin.

Rosehip Oil And Honey for Oily Skin

Things you will need:

 Rosehip Oil  A few drops
 Honey  1 tbsp

Procedure:

  1. Take a bowl and mix a few drops of rosehip oil with 1 tbsp of honey.
  2. If you want the mask to be a little strong you can add in more essential oil accordingly.
  3. Mix both of them, dip cotton in it and apply it onto the face.
  4. Leave it to dry and once it is dried, rinse it off using clean water.
  5. Pat the skin dry.

Repeat this remedy thrice in a week to see visible difference.

If you have a sensitive skin then we recommend using not more than 2-3 drops of rosehip oil on your skin. Rosehip oil helps in providing nourishment to the skin. An undernourished skin can also produce excess oil and be termed as an oily skin, and thus, rosehip helps in providing the required nourishment.

Lemon, Honey And Potato Juice

Things you will need:

 Lemon Juice  2 tbsp
 Honey  1 tbsp

Procedure:

  1. Take half a potato, peel it and grate it.
  2. Using a muslin, extract its juice in a clean bowl.
  3. To that, add in lemon and honey. Mix well.
  4. Dip a cotton ball in it and apply this concoction onto your skin.
  5. Leave it on for 1 hour and rinse it off using cold water.
  6. Pat the skin dry.

This also helps in tightening the pores, while honey adds the right amount of moisture to skin so that it maintains the skin texture while ensuring it doesn’t become too dry.

Gram Flour And Rose Water Treatment

Things you will need:

 Gram Flour  3 tbsp
 Rose Water  4 tbsp

Procedure:

  1. Take a bowl and add 3 tbsp of gram flour and 4 tbsp of rose water in it.
  2. Mix them well to make a paste. If the concoction seems too runny, then add a little more gram flour.
  3. Apply this mixture onto your skin and massage in a circular motion for 5 minutes.
  4. Leave it to dry and rinse it off once done.
  5. Pat the skin dry and apply some moisturizer if needed.

Repeat this treatment twice in a week.

Gram flour is an excellent absorbent and helps in sucking the impurities and excess oil out. Rose water is known to balance the pH level, and thus, even it contributes in making the skin less oily and smooth while helping in clearing patchy skin as well. This mask is extremely gentle, and hence, can be used even on a sensitive skin.

Oil Cleanser For Oily Skin

Things you will need:

 Castor Oil  1 tbsp
 Tamanu Oil  1 tbsp
 Jojoba Oil  6 tbsp
 Lavender Essential Oil  8 drops
 Melaleuca Oil  4 drops

Procedure:

  1. Take a dark glass dropper bottle and add in all the ingredients in it.
  2. Close the lid and shake well in order to mix all the ingredients in it.
  3. Take some of this oil in your palms and apply it onto your skin.
  4. Massage for about 1 minute and let your skin absorb all its goodness.
  5. Apply a warm towel on your face and let that sit till it becomes cool.
  6. Repeat the towel step for 1-2 times more and finish with a moisturizer as well as a toner.
